[Jaina enjoys a good competition, and would gladly help Haruka beat her dad in a race if given the chance. And if she were assigned to her dad's ship, she would try to help him. Either way, she thinks a race is fun.]

Michiru Kaioh. [ Haruka can't say that name without smiling a little harder, but the moment's fleeting. ] The technical term might be "counselor".

[ She honestly does not remember which the Fleet prefers to use. All Haruka knows is that Michiru got her own office with a couch, and that's all she feels she needs to know. ] Look her up whenever.

Same thing. I might do that, too.

[She waves her hand, though. Jaina's pretty certain she doesn't need counseling, and she doesn't want to cross a boundary. That might be too little too late, but she tries.]

She didn't want to stay on the ship with you?

[ They just haven't been hanging out on the ship that much ever since they docked at this space station. ]

[Jaina fidgets a little, kind of getting the sense she's either asking the wrong questions or maybe needs to change the topic. Clears her throat, and blunders onto a different question.]

[ Haruka laughs, then winks. ]

[Jaina crosses her arms, and gives her a challenging look.]

[ Cute. And also, touché. Haruka smirks. ] Let's see, then.

We're partners in ways you might not even have experienced yet....

[ Michiru can see into her soul sometimes. It's pretty amazing.

[She's really not sure what the whole partners thing is about. She's still working up to the notion that handholding isn't a big deal. But seeing into someone's soul wouldn't be a strange idea to her. Thanks to her twinbond, she can still take comfort in never really feeling alone.]

[ Yeah, she's not explaining that one. Haruka moves to keep walking, though she doesn't look averse to continuing the conversation. This just makes her look more suave and mature. ] Wait and see.

[ Haruka just laughs. Jaina has a point, but she may not admit that even to herself. ] I'll be on the station if you need me.

[She scratches a cheek for a moment, then rolls her shoulder in a shrug. Jaina knows a bye when she hears one.]

Okay. Be careful out there.

[ Haruka waves a confident hand in the air behind her. It is impossible to care less about dropping a piece of paper than she does right now! There's nothing suspicious on that sheet at all!
