[Well, it's been two days.  Pretty sure she can rule out roofies by this point, and other potential illnesses given nothing changes.  Pulse is still fine, breathing's regular, all that jazz.  That leaves one likely possibility she can think of, given they've already proven Fleet passengers can be turned on and off at will.

Which irritates her.  But who knows.  Maybe the space orgy was just too much for their delicate viewers.  HAH.]

Hey, so question.  I know the augments are known to malfunction sometimes.  What kind of malfunctions are we talking about?  Have they ever... dropped anyone into a coma without warning?

...is there any way of countering it, if so?

Nooo... he just went to sleep and didn't wake up. Other people have done it, I hear them talk about it.

Sometimes, they wake up with new memories. Updating.

[He peeks into the camera, upside down.]

[So technically everything that's Sam has kind of... gone home? How bizarre. She can hold onto the idea that he'll at least wake up eventually, even if it might take a while--

--problem is, she can remember what he's walking back into back home. Ho boy. Maybe she should talk to Cas. Hell, either Cas.]

All right. Thanks, Cole. [Sometimes they just sleep, she has to remember that. That's probably a better alternative.]

It did a bit. Means he'll come out of it eventually, right? Just gotta wait.

Yes. He'll wake up. It just might take a few weeks.

I guess I'll take care of his business on station, then. [Not that there's a great deal. Just... go and tell the bar he won't be back in at all, grab whatever pay is owed him.]

Here's hoping it's just sleep.

Yeah. I'd just prefer him not to have to update as well.

Did you end up teaching your friend how to make pinwheels?

She liked them. And there's someone else, Sorey, he bubbles with love and compassion, it's like sunlight on grass on spring days and I made one for him for his shrine.

[Speaking about Sorey, a soft pink tone flushes his cheeks. Someone might have a crush.]

He sounds like a good man. He has a shrine? Religious?

[Or is he a spirit of some kind? Really by this point she won't be surprised by anything.]

He prays to... something. Spirit like. Not spirit how I know it. Gives offerings. The pinwheel was for wind. His friend, Mikleo, is a Seraph, which is like a spirit, but it's not. Sometimes people don't see them, though! People used to not see me.

Well, I guess if any kind of spirit would like a pinwheel, it'd be a wind one. What ship is he on?

Um... I don't know. Maybe I did know and I forgot. I don't know if Sorey and Mikleo are on the same ship either...

Oh, well. You can introduce us some day, or point him out. If you're okay with that, anyway. I think I'd like to meet a Seraph.

[Cole isn't sure why she'd rather meet Mikleo than Sorey. But, if that's what she wants.]

[Both, actually, though she was bad at putting that across. It's just if Mikleo is the one she might not be able to see, then...]
