[The video feed this time just shows a fox poking its nose into the camera, before Nightingale manages to pull it back.]

Hi. So, I understand a lot of people got foxes back on that snow planet from last time. And, the other day, it was brought up to me that it might be a good idea to make a little fox park of sorts on the Iskaulit. A place where the foxes can play with each other, and people who don't have foxes can come try to play with them. I've got a bunch of books from that planet, too, to figure out what foxes need and how to best take care of them.

Problem is, I don't even know where to begin making an area like this on the Iskaulit, so I need help. How to get things like dirt and grass up there, for one, since we'd need a green area like that for them. And we'd probably need things like toys or burrows, so... Anyone who's willing to help make this thing work, I'd like to ask for your assistance. Once our accounts are all fixed, I can offer payment, too, if that helps.

Any other ideas to make this work better would be good, too. I have to admit, I only have a vague idea of what I'm doing, but it seems like a park for these little jerks to let out all their energy would be something a lot of people would like.

Probably. Also you're dealing with foxes that are acclimatised to harsh cold conditions, so you have to be careful with whatever you put together for them. And some could be territorial and cause issues.

I was actually thinking about asking for people with weird magic, to see if someone can make snow for them.

Ahhh... [This is where losing her weapon annoys her.] If I had my staff, I could. If it ever reappears from its magical journey with "customs", I can help there.

You do magic, too? I have a staff here. It's not a great one, but it's better than nothing. Can you try with that?

Ah... I'm not an innate magic user. [She kind of wishes she was. She hates that her weapon can be taken away so easily.] It's the staff itself-- I built it to help me with the weather. I can't do anything without it.

Oh, one of those types of magic items... You can't recreate it here?

I made a start-- I got the outer shell of the weapon done, anyway. But until I find the right kind of chemical technology I'm sunk, and I get the feeling that tech is pretty unique to the place I got it from.

There's no such thing as really 'unique'. If it exists once, there must be a way to replicate it.

That's what I'm hoping. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for stuff I can use, but so far we're not exactly hitting places with a huge range of technology up for grabs.

... I'd say something will turn up, but I wouldn't put it past the Atroma to specifically send us only to useless places.

Yep. I heard that theory-- wherever they send us, it won't be anywhere with technology we could use against them.

That just means we have to get creative.
