[ He's reluctant. Obi-Wan can sense it. There's something else there, something he can't quite put his finger on. The meaning escapes him. ]

Yeah, but I'm something most people don't like. [ Sort of like a human-sized leech. With major, deep-seated hunger problems. ]

[ And this is why Obi is the best dad ever. Sascha's reassured by it and nods a little as he kicks his feet twice more. ]

[ He takes a minute to process the term. Vampiric . . . wasn't there a species that fed on energy? He seemed to vaguely recall that from the Archives. At any rate, he doesn't seem bothered by this new-found information. ]

So what do you feed on?

Um...meat. So animals. And um. People--but I don't eat eat them! Just their blood! And I haven't bitten anyone! [ These he insists on, because Bigby has been very keen about making sure he follows those rules. ]

I believe you. I imagine biting people might be tricky. You might find yourself "accidentally stabbed" once more.

[ It can't be easy though. He's seen other species who must maintain certain diets. Being removed from their world or being forced to travel puts them in dire situations. ]

That was because I surprised someone when I tried to sleep with them.

[ Platonically. Like he did with Obi! Only involving a bed, and night time. ]

I'm sure there are plenty of people who don't care what you are, Sascha.

Maybe... But most people get pretty angry or wary of me.

Yes, but you might not even be the only vampire. Others might know or even understand what you need and help you out.

It hurts to reach out, I know, but sometimes you'll never know unless you try.

--Do you really think there's more here?? [ Sascha perks up at the possibility, mostly because it means he wouldn't be the sole one there any longer. They'll probably decide he's strange like all the others back home and leave him, but still. ]

I would not dismiss the possibility. There are stranger people than you in the Fleet. Why not other vampires?

[ Obi-Wan's own weirdness is offset by the fact that there are other Jedi, but he would not consider himself unique. He has a feeling there are many more vampires around. Among other things, of course. ]

I haven't seen anyone who looked like one yet... I'll have to keep my eyes open. [ Because he really would like to meet some if they're around. They're much easier to approach. ]

If you know what to look for it's usually pretty easy.

They might not look similar.

[ He imagines, with different universes, the term vampire can be interpreted loosely. And some physiological differences are to be expected. ]

Perhaps make a broadcast of it?
