[ To be honest, what she knows of "magic" can generally be explained away by plot mechanics, where she comes from, but ... ]

There are many different kinds, some of which I have seen. Others are still a mystery.

But you know it exists. That's more than most people from my world can say. There aren't too many magic folk, least not where I am, but I'm a witch, and so are the kinda folks you're talking about, the dangerous ones.

That's right. Though not every witch has the same gifts, but we all got magic.

I don't believe, I know. Fiona Goode, she was the Supreme - that's the most powerful witch, the leader of the coven. She's supposed to protect and guide the other witches, but all she cared about was maintaining her own power and becoming immortal. She tried to kill anyone who might be the next Supreme, even her own daughter.

We did it before so I think we could do it again. I couldn't do it alone of course but there are lots of people here with special abilities that would help.
