Who: Lydia Martin + you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action:
When: March 1
What do you know about magic?
Does it exist in your world, or did you learn about it here (or in another world)?
If it exists in your world how do people get magic? Are they born with it or does something give them it? What can they do with it?
I didn't have magic at home. There were druids, but it wasn't the same.
I know that other worlds have different rules. In Asgard your abilities were nullified but the gods gave you magic. Which I still have here.
Is there a rule here for magic? Do your other abilities still exist? Has anyone been given a new power here?
It could have just been Asgard, but I'd rather make sure nothing else will happen here unexpectedly. At least about this.

2.
Yes, in the twinkle in the eye of every child and in the song of everywait wait wait, did you mean literally? Yeah. No. Not even a little bit.3 onward, no idea. We get some sort of freaky The Matrix knowledge update here (no kung fu, which I call shenanigans on), but I doubt that's magical. I guess if you really want to pretend you can levitate you can turn off the gravity or something.
p.s. What are these non-magical 'other abilities'? It seems to me that anything superhuman would fall under the purview of 'magic' in one way or another, right?

And not all abilities are magic. Supernatural beings aren't magic. Not ones that I know.

I don't know much about magic-magic. But I know plenty about the Force, which some people *believe* is magic? Even though it totally isn't.

I guess you can "apply" to get some magical powers through your augment, but I've never tried it. I'll put up with a lot of weird shit, but that seems like a pointedly bad idea.

Is magic the only thing the augments can give you?

As for magic, I don't know much. It existed in my world, it's genetic, and the limits are almost endless. Since I'm not a wizard or warlock, that's also all I know.

How did you find out about magic in your world? Or is it not kept secret?

I know quite a bit about it. At least as much as any simple mortal might begin to, over years of observation and study. At the simplest of levels, magic is merely energy - energy that exists within a person or the world around them - and then channeled through various forms. Words, gestures, objects, or simply thought.
Magic was moderately common in my own world, and like many the ability to use it is passed through blood. Wizards, like myself, are usually the result of two wizard parents, though it can appear anomalously from time to time, like curly hair.
I do in fact still have access to my magic, though I haven't noticed any change in them or had much cause to investigate that fact. I imagine you can expect much of the same.
