What do you know about magic?
Does it exist in your world, or did you learn about it here (or in another world)?
If it exists in your world how do people get magic? Are they born with it or does something give them it? What can they do with it?
I didn't have magic at home. There were druids, but it wasn't the same.
I know that other worlds have different rules. In Asgard your abilities were nullified but the gods gave you magic. Which I still have here.
Is there a rule here for magic? Do your other abilities still exist? Has anyone been given a new power here?
It could have just been Asgard, but I'd rather make sure nothing else will happen here unexpectedly. At least about this.

The gods gave us them to help us fight the war. When I went home I didn't have it, which is why it's weird having it now.

I might have to find them to ask them.

ok admittedly that is very strange then. so you were taken from your home like atroma does to people here? but you had to fight in a war?

Yes. Asgard was under threat, and it would have affected all of our worlds if Asgard was destroyed. I didn't get to see the end, though. I was sent back home before it ended.

there is a world that affect all other worlds? [Maker's breath, what else is out there in this universe place?] given that we're all here and nothing catastrophic seems to have happened, i assume the war ended in our favor.

A few months, but it had been going on for a lot longer.

as wars tend to. i cannot imagine why they'd go through such trouble to bring people from other worlds for their fight.

If Asgard was destroyed that would have affected our worlds too. We had to help.

But they did not have enough soldiers in their own army to fight this war?

The natives didn't have the god's powers like we did.

ah. and the gods could not bestow those powers upon the natives?

I don't know. Maybe not, but the world was a different place before people started arriving. Maybe that stopped them being able to.

it must have been quite a war. being here must feel like a far cry from that.
