I was trying to think of a better way to ask this, but I realized it doesn't matter, does it? If the Atroma really watch our every move... [He cocks his head to the side, a tiny shrug.] Well, you know.

Anyway, I've heard of people disappearing from the fleet. Have you ever noticed anyone disappearing after doing something that might have made the Atroma angry? [Someone's feeling ballsy today. The defiant smirk on his face kind of backs up that interpretation.]

[He almost shuts the feed off before remembering-] Oh! One more thing... I've been talking people here, and most of the ones I've met are from systems-- planets-- without spaceflight technology. Some even without flight technology. I was wondering... well, I was going to ask if there was anything I should know about that, but I don't even know where to begin asking! I can't even imagine it.

[After these announcements are broadcast, you can easily find Luke on the Blameless' bridge, sitting in the captain's chair, staring out the window, levitating what looks like a ballpoint pen over his open palm, and generally looking extremely bored.]

I'e heard a lot about Earth. It doesn't have flight technology, and it does, and it has spaceflight and doesn't, there are amphibious sentient lifeforms coexisting with humans, but 'superhumans' are part of an authoritarian regime, and it's where 'English' was invented. [He sounds slightly annoyed while recounting this.] I think someone was lying.

[well. that's something. sara notices the broadcast at some point after she's been beamed over to the blameless, and opts against answering over her communicator. instead, she looks around until she finds her way to the bridge, waiting for shiny doors to whoosh open before announcing herself with a soft,]

[she walks in carrying a little plastic cup and spoon, because it's her party and she'll eat chocolate-flavored dessert cream if she wants to. especially if she's going to be holding conversations with luke skywalker. while he's levitating a pen. she twirls the spoon between her fingers in lieu of commenting on pretty much any of that.]

I don't know; waiting two weeks is pretty good for me... [He's joking. He smiles warmly.] I know, Ben. If it were this easy, someone would have done it by now.

Perhaps it'll take more than just one person to do it.

Three people disappeared from my ship recently. They weren't behaving badly that I know of. The only thing they had in common is that they were all from Japan. [Which is... extremely worrisome...] Maybe the disappearances are random, but I kind of doubt it.

If you learn anything, I'd really like to hear about it.

[nice save. she doesn't laugh at him, so there's that, though she tracks the motion of that pen with her eyes until it comes to a standstill. it was one thing to meet princess leia on the network, or talk to people about mysterious powers and familiar faces. it's another to see this for herself.

[Luke considers this for a few seconds longer than normal.] I'm... I'm sure it'll be fine, Ben. [Does Anakin really care that much, Ben. Are you sure.] I know my training hasn't been the most complete, but I can handle myself.

I don't know. Openly talking about sedition doesn't seem to do anything. Someone else told me that if you try to escape, you'll just get pulled back in.

If I had to guess, I'd say actively destroying Fleet property, including other passengers, is going to upset someone. This is a business, right? They wouldn't want to lose money...

Not much right now. I wasn't joking earlier when I said it was like working out of a shoe box - I don't even really need the augment to gave me to take stock of lab equipment. [ She is still mad as heck about that. ] Right now we should be alright in the event of most medical emergencies. I can see about improving on ship defenses - fire proofing the labs, for one.

Did you have ideas? I'm all ears.
