It is a prototype. I have never had any talent with a bow -- and I thought we could take the time to say - test it?

Yeah, we can definitely do that. We can set up some targets in the park.

Good! Targets in the park is exactly what we'll need. [He murmured to himself.] And possibly a good alibi, if this goes awry. Still! Shall we take the shuttle and go down to the surface?

[ gonna grab a jacket and get ready to go down there ]

I have believed people before when they said they wouldn't shoot me. I have found myself in the wrong.

[Was his wry response, but he smirked never the less and took on a gun himself. He did have to practice.]

[Which, he would, already starting up the engine to the small two-seater as he waited for Nova to arrive.]

As ready as I ever am to plunge into the unknowns of space.

[Is his response. The shuttle takes off and soon they are moving through traffic to reach a local space port for their shuttles. It's a short drive, and Tyrion is sure to keep his thoughts to himself until they get to the park.

Where he hands over the bow, the arrows, and takes out his notebooks.]

Anywhere you would like to fire at that is not people, is fine with me.

There are some beefy trees in the park. We can put up some paper, if that's good?

[ heads that direction and sets up the range. luckily, people are sparse at the moment ]

I am sure the trees will feel a bit of a tingle, but they'll soon be all right.

[He himself sets himself up far enough away from the trees as so not to get shot, and then takes out his pencil and pad.]

[ nods and draws up. she actually draws a few times, trying to get a feel for the weight and tension and figure out how she should compensate for the flaws in construction ]

It feels a little heavy on the outside, and I'd probably like a little more elasticity, if you can manage it.

[He watches her carefully, his gaze thoughtful as he looks between her and the shot.]

All right ... we can do something to increase the elasticity.

[ draws up again, doing her best to adjust for the discrepancies and fires. she's wide—not dangerously so, but it embeds in another tree ]

There's a lot of sideways movement. It feels like it wants to get away from me.

[He makes a face at that, before he mutters to himself.]

Need to adjust the balance, and the weight. It's too light.

[ she goes through process a few more times and gives him additional notes, all while not seriously injuring anyone ]

[Tyrion makes thoughtful noises through all of it, before he looks up at her thoughtfully.]

All right, so clearly this bow is a prototype. You can keep it if you want but I should be able to make something new in a few days.
