Who: Ororo and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide video
Action: On the Marsiva
When: Right now!
--
[ The video feed clicks on as Ororo wakes, with the sound of her cape's wrist bangles clattering against whatever assorted metal fixtures there are on the bed as she gets to her feet. It's quiet aside from the background noise of the Hospitality Deck, with Ororo silently assessing the situation she'd found herself in. Was it a kidnapping? She could see the void of stars and space through the large window - had she been pulled into another intergalactic issue? Ororo frowned, the sparks of lightning crawling along her skin making the video feed flicker with static. ]
[ Assuming that there were other X-Men with her here somewhere (nine times out of ten they were pulled into these things together), she decided to go looking for them and regroup... or at least find someone on the Deck to question. She takes the communicator with her just because it looked useful, but neglects to switch it off or anything - so between brief moments of static from her lightning, it happens to pick up her movement and voice as she mutters to herself: ]
By the Goddess, I do not have time for this. I have a school to run!

You're in space, 'Ro. Don't go fryin' the circuitboards trying to get off.

A little lightning has never hurt any space-worthy craft we've been in before, Logan. [Said a bit haughtily; she's still peeved about this whole situation.] And whoever's taken us this time will just have to deal with it, regardless of their intentions of bringing us here.

- What little there is of it, at any rate. [She sighs; she doesn't particularly relish space travel and its recycled air.] Where are you, Logan? Is there anyone else with you?

There's some from the X-Men, some from the Avengers. Ain't all of 'em from the same 'verse. I might not be the Logan you know.

Would it help if I asked what your last memory of me was?
no subject
Last time I saw you, I was leavin' the institute to settle some personal business. Kind of stuff I didn't want the X-Men involved in. Before that, we'd been dealin' with that shitshow in space hosted by that asshole Kaga.

... I think I remember him. We were with Scott and Henry then, weren't we? [She can't help but sound more than a bit surprised. They hadn't been a full team in a long time.]

I think I remember him. He was like her when it came to missions bleeding together, but all that mess with the brood and organic sentinels was recent and just a little bit memorable.]
... ya make it sound like it was a while back for you.

[Still, that means this isn't quite the Logan she knows. She can't help but feel a bit disappointed.]

[Frustrating as hell. But familiar. And something he can live with. Future X-Men isn't exactly a new one for him.]
no subject
[But one upside to this was that he still had his healing factor. So that was one less thing to worry about. Hopefully.]
... Whatever the case, it is still good to see you, Logan. I know I'd rather face yet another Shi'ar mission with you rather than without.
no subject
Ya know that feeling's mutual, 'Ro. Pretty sure this ain't Shi'ar, though. Their food is better.

[She's just waiting for the week to be over already.]

[He's earned a few credits here and there. He might even be willing to spend them on her.]

Then I suppose I will see you at the end of the week.
