Who: Ororo and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide video
Action: On the Marsiva
When: Right now!

[ The video feed clicks on as Ororo wakes, with the sound of her cape's wrist bangles clattering against whatever assorted metal fixtures there are on the bed as she gets to her feet. It's quiet aside from the background noise of the Hospitality Deck, with Ororo silently assessing the situation she'd found herself in. Was it a kidnapping? She could see the void of stars and space through the large window - had she been pulled into another intergalactic issue? Ororo frowned, the sparks of lightning crawling along her skin making the video feed flicker with static. ]

[ Assuming that there were other X-Men with her here somewhere (nine times out of ten they were pulled into these things together), she decided to go looking for them and regroup... or at least find someone on the Deck to question. She takes the communicator with her just because it looked useful, but neglects to switch it off or anything - so between brief moments of static from her lightning, it happens to pick up her movement and voice as she mutters to herself: ]

By the Goddess, I do not have time for this. I have a school to run!

This also ain't m' first time 'round one of these places, ya start to get a little use to the idea that things all got turned on their head. [There was a bit of a shrug added to that, not denying her comment about him.] Just gotta make the most of it.

've been in worse situations... 'nd 'm not sure what that really says 'bout me or the situation we currently in, but could be a hell 'lot worse. Got some good company, not too bad drink, food needs work, 'nd the boredom does creep up between stops, but got a lot goin' for it as well.

Plus if ya world be 'nywhere as chaotic as ours can get at times, ya could use the break, non?

Never know, might come 'cross one of those in our next stop. Or 'nother ice planet, or some place that looks like the back streets of 1950s Detroit, who knows. Always a bit of a gamble for what we get.

[Yet the familiarity she was showing was putting him a little more on edge than he had been with others showing up. It was too easy to just go along with it, to fall into this despite the fact he didn't know this woman and had no real contact with the Storm from his world bar fighting against her. It wasn't like being an ass to Logan when he showed up, or kind but neutral to Kitty. There was a bit too much warmth to her tone and it felt a little wrong to be aimed at him when he had been an enemy of the X-Men.] A bit more of a workin' holiday at the moment.

Every month or so we get a different stop, from what I understand. Since I got here we've had an ice planet 'nd now the space station we currently at, but hear there be quite a range.

Doesn't mean we don't have those waits between new planets, those I could do without. [Being stuck in a tin can of a ship was not fun for him.]

Oui, can see how that be an issue for ya. [He can only imagine how restricting being stuck in such a small place for a person who controlled the weather could be.]

As long as ya got a sense of adventure 'nd willin' to just go with what ya get dealt, than yeah, we got plenty of things to look forward to. Plus we seem to be gettin' a mix of different mutants showin' up of late, a few might even be from ya universe. Whether that a good thing or bad thing...

[Ah, Remy wouldn't expect any less from an X-Man than an on going positive outlook despite however bleak the situation could get, and Storm certainly lived up to that expectation.

Or maybe he was being a bit too judgmental. After all, even with having to deal with a jealous Scott back in Luceti or a distrusting Kurt, none of them turned out to be that bad. Hell, he had become close friends with both Jean and Rogue, especially Rogue, over the year or two stuck under that dome.

And she was right, it was certainly nice to have a familiar face show up, even if they had never been that close in his own world.]
Ya do have a point there.
