[ The video feed clicks on as Ororo wakes, with the sound of her cape's wrist bangles clattering against whatever assorted metal fixtures there are on the bed as she gets to her feet. It's quiet aside from the background noise of the Hospitality Deck, with Ororo silently assessing the situation she'd found herself in. Was it a kidnapping? She could see the void of stars and space through the large window - had she been pulled into another intergalactic issue? Ororo frowned, the sparks of lightning crawling along her skin making the video feed flicker with static. ]

[ Assuming that there were other X-Men with her here somewhere (nine times out of ten they were pulled into these things together), she decided to go looking for them and regroup... or at least find someone on the Deck to question. She takes the communicator with her just because it looked useful, but neglects to switch it off or anything - so between brief moments of static from her lightning, it happens to pick up her movement and voice as she mutters to herself: ]

By the Goddess, I do not have time for this. I have a school to run!

[Whoa. And he's gonna guess that "flight" part isn't just teaching people how to fly planes and whatnot. Clay looks to be in awe over here; he's been here for months and seen all kinds of powers, but hearing about them is still awe-inducing.]

That's a lot to teach! You must have your hands full. [No wonder she needs to get back home, teacher at work here!] When I was still in school, I'd do some tutoring for students who had trouble keeping up with the classes, so teaching is something I really enjoy doing. It's just knowing they're learning something and really understanding it, you know?

Yeah, that's exactly it! When they just... When they get it, and you know it'll help them out later on. It really is something else.

[It's that light in their eyes, the way it shows up when a student finally understands something they were struggling with. And even outside of it, when he explains a concept and someone actually understands what he's saying. It's a great feeling.]

I mean, my main passion is space. I'm an astronaut at home, and everything to do with that is my top priority. But, you know, if I wasn't into that...

[Definitely teaching. The pay is awful, as he's heard from other teachers, but man, it's worth it to him.]
