Who: Ororo and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide video
Action: On the Marsiva
When: Right now!
--
[ The video feed clicks on as Ororo wakes, with the sound of her cape's wrist bangles clattering against whatever assorted metal fixtures there are on the bed as she gets to her feet. It's quiet aside from the background noise of the Hospitality Deck, with Ororo silently assessing the situation she'd found herself in. Was it a kidnapping? She could see the void of stars and space through the large window - had she been pulled into another intergalactic issue? Ororo frowned, the sparks of lightning crawling along her skin making the video feed flicker with static. ]
[ Assuming that there were other X-Men with her here somewhere (nine times out of ten they were pulled into these things together), she decided to go looking for them and regroup... or at least find someone on the Deck to question. She takes the communicator with her just because it looked useful, but neglects to switch it off or anything - so between brief moments of static from her lightning, it happens to pick up her movement and voice as she mutters to herself: ]
By the Goddess, I do not have time for this. I have a school to run!

People here talk a lot.
[action]
Were you able to find anyone to speak to here? It's awfully empty.
[action]
There is a child here. He is seven.
[She had mostly kept to herself other than feeding the kid.]
[action]
There are children involved in this?
[action]
[action]
There are not a lot of people other than us here, are there? I hope he isn't too frightened.
[action]
But he is pretending he is not.
[Which doesn't work around someone with her sense of smell.]
[action]
Perhaps we can help with that while we are here.
In the meanwhile, I'm sure if there was a way out you would have found it by now. No such luck, I suppose? [She frowns. If there was no escape for right now, were they supposed to just... sit around and wait?]
[action]
Unless we shatter a window, we cannot leave.
[action]
Assuming we stay put, what can we expect? The others somehow found a way to the ships outside, did they not?
[action]
It is not anything we can control.
[She was not happy with that, evidently.]
[action]
It isn't much, I suppose, but as I find it hard to trust much of anything here at this point, we can at least remain alert. [Which is bad enough for her; she's sure Laura feels it even more... So Storm offers her a small smile.]
And stay together, of course. [- hopefully Laura finds that agreeable.]
[action]
[But she could do that.]
As you wish.
