[Asuka is sitting on her bed, with a bright red notebook and pen in hand and a slight frown crossing her face. She's still wearing the same form-fitting red-and-purple combat plugsuit she's been in since her arrival. For once, she doesn't look so much annoyed as she does wary, though honestly, with her, it's hard to tell.]

This is Asuka Shikinami Langley. [No wave. She scribbles something on a notebook page that's probably just a line and not any kind of script.] I have a few questions for everyone. The more people that answer, the more accurate the survey, so I suggest you tell me.

[All business. Asuka would applaud herself for her own professionalism if there was any point. There's no telling how long it'll last.]

First, I want to know your nationalities. Second, I want to know what your occupation was before the Fleet. I'm trying to figure out if there's a pattern to the kidnappings or any groups that get targeted more than others.

[Which is what the notebook is for. She really doesn't trust the network not to bungle everything at Atroma's whim. There's a brief, reluctant pause, and then--]

Before you ask, I was born in Germany. I was a pilot before, too. That's all.

Just a quick question. When you say nationality, do you mean the sovereignty that you were born to, or the larger geographical country?

I don't really have a nationality. The Jedi doesn't affiliate with one planet or nation. I was a general in the Grand Army of the Republic. So in that sense, the Republic would be the closest to what you're asking for.

I'm a Jedi too--there's a good handful of us here, now. But I'm about 4,000 years before most of the others. Pretty sure Atroma started grabbing the future ones because they make good holodrama.

I'm a pirate, so I guess I come from the Grand Line these days. Originally from Cocoyashi Village in East Blue.

We share a country of birth. I was raised there until adolescence, then relocated. I ended up in America a few years later.

I've been a freedom fighter, an assassin, a spy, an executioner, and a government-sanctioned bounty hunter. Most of them at the same time.

I'm American by birth, though I was living in Jordan before I came here. I would've been a medical school student back home.

I've also worked in clinical research and interfaith ministry, if that helps.

Ordis does not remember any origin of creation that he may belong to, but currently, before all this mess, resided in the Womb of the Sky. Not any colony, however, just the flight patterns between planets.

As for occupation, he is a personal cephalon tasked with assisting his Operator and ensuring that the Operator's personal spacecraft runs at optimal measures at all times.

I don't have a nationality. [ they do, but it's not one they'll ever share. the more removed they are from humans, the better. ] I was supposed to be an ambassador for humans and monsters, when I got old enough.
