[It was a round about of saying yes, but with at least enough context to make it obvious he wasn't fully innocent either. Logan wasn't looking for forgiveness or conflict, but he didn't feel any need to conceal his part either.]

She hasn't hurt anybody since she's been here, and if people just ignored her and let the people who know her deal with her, this wouldn't happen.

[He might comment that he was a quick healer and that he had nearly his entire flesh (aside from the pants area for comic book reasons) torched, but Logan wasn't generally in the habit of complaining about his wounds.]

[ there's a long silence at that, because of course azula didn't tell zuko -- why would she, seeing as he lives with the enemy -- but it's still annoying, and his sister is still stupid. ]

Don't go near her again. If you can't behave yourself, then transfer. I'll talk to her to tell her the same.

She doesn't need anyone to teach her a lesson that isn't me.

[Those are the kind of words that go as well with Logan as a pink sweater goes with a lawnmower. He takes a step closer to Zuko and glares up at him.]

You're young, so I'm gonna let that slide. But I don't take orders from you. Next time your sister decided to incinerate me or someone else in this crew, I won't bother giving her a lesson.

[ he has no real power here, so -- logan is right, he doesn't take orders from zuko. but it won't take long to figure out who logan does take orders from, and -- ]

You just said you "called her bluff."

[ in irritation -- being dismissed because he's "young" (which is laughable, to zuko, but he shoves past his pride) is filed away for later. ]

Baiting someone who obviously has a self-control issue isn't smart, or honorable, or has any use except proving your own ego. What was gained by fighting her? She doesn't respect you, or care that you "won", and the only thing you've probably done is given her a purpose to keep going.

[ generally, if azula gets herself killed, then zuko (while feeling to blame for it) won't defend her. but poking a bear with a stick is just a stupid idea. ]

If she was running her mouth, or needed to be put in her place, ask people from her universe -- people who might actually know how to talk to her -- instead of going, "Hey, girl that can melt steel, want to fight over it?" It might work out better, in the long run, for the entire Fleet.

I'm not your sister's goddamn therapist, bub. That sister and her running mouth lit me on fire. Not just once or a little bit like what happened with your eye. She scorched me enough times that if I was anyone else, you'd be scraping me off the walls for the next month. Each time she put a bolt of lightning in me, my central nervous system was fried while my heart stopped beating.

[With a sudden grinding snikt three claws suddenly emerge from his right hand. Logan isn't shy about holding them up where Zuko can get a nice good reflection of himself in them.]

So if I decided to carve off an arm or two from her, it would've been more than an even trade. Instead, I put one hole in her. Next time, I'll put it somewhere she won't mend up from. So before you get any ideas about who I am or what I did, know that I ain't looking for honor or respect or some fucking pride for cutting a little girl open. That was a warning shot.
