all aboard the ss blamless

Who: Crew of the SS Blameless and visitors.
Broadcast: Nope
Action: SS Blameless
When: March, or until we feel like a new one.

[It's a mingle! Get out of the car!

Unique ship notes for new crew and visitors: giant, unmissable scorch marks currently line the walls of several corridors leading from the cargo hold to the bridge!

Also, thanks to Kate, we now have a SWEARS AND ATTITUDES JAR displayed prominently in the kitchen. Whenever someone's being naughty instead of nice, they're compelled to deposit a few credits (or at least an iou) into the awaiting jar.

Also also, we are all still bunking together. HAVE FUN.]

He chuckles at her answer. Jokingly or not, she has a knack at saying the kind of thing he likes to hear. He likes a girl from his own world, his own time. There aren't those strange social gaps that he has to constantly toe. "You know, I've got no doubt you can get a little wild."

Call him a professional people reader.

And a man who pays attention to his surroundings too. The burn marks are...a little concerning actually, but since the ship still seems to be in one piece, he'll ignore it right along with Sara.

"A job?" Oh, he understands the need for work. Coming in with nothing when he was used to having a lot was a hard adjustment. But, he had means of getting what he needed either way. "What are you doing?"

FDR has a way of making her smile, and her grin only grows at his comment about getting wild. Even before the Amazo and Lian Yu, before the League of Assassins, she'd been nothing like her sister. Laurel was always the responsible one, while Sara snuck into Tommy Merlyn's infamous parties just for the chance to talk to boys she had stupid crushes on.

"You'd be surprised."

Maybe that's a little too honest, but he's not likely to guess her life turned into a horrific real life Cast Away when she was nineteen.

"Bartending." It doesn't take long to get to the kitchen, and when they do she starts rummaging through futuristic cabinets for a couple of glasses. There's a table if FDR wants to take a seat. "I did some in college, and it seemed as good a way as any to make some cash. Especially with our accounts locked up."

"Are you really gonna leave me hanging with a comment like that, or do I get a sample of this wild behavior?" He has no problem with honest, he likes honest. Just about as much as he likes a mystery. Or a challenge. And hell, combine the three and he's likely to be in love.

"A useful skill for the evening then." He slides over to the table and sets the alcohol down, watching her easily as she looks for something to drink out of. SHe doesn't find it soon though, he's willing to call her out on uncivilized drinking.
