What's a kubrow? Snuggles is a fox. [She laughs.] Ordis is kind of a fussy poop, huh.

[Snuggles sniffs, and then gives the Tenno's fingers a polite lick.]

Wow, a whole ship for just one person, that's awesome! Well, two people. A meat person and a computer person.

[She nods.] I remember... I think Delta said he had problems with stuff like that too, when he first got put in a body. He wrote some programs for himself that were a bunch of reminders. Um. So like it would tell him when he should go to sleep and when he should eat so he wouldn't forget. And also tell him how many calories he should eat so he wouldn't make himself sick. Maybe that kind of thing would help Ordis? It's super easy to measure calories on the ship food at least, it's basically all like rat bars.

[On her feet now, at last.] Okay, come on. To the galley! [She'll lead the way. Hopefully Tenno won't mind if she's kind of slow.]

A much bigger canine would be the best way to call it. They can be trained to be attack and guard companions. Multiple sizes and breeds but definitely bigger than your fox no matter. [Officer Snuggles gets a soft rub between his ears.] He's certainly that.

It was nice. I'm getting used to the fleet though. I can understand the need for different jobs due to the larger ship size.

Food is not too much of an issue but he needs to remember the proper calorie amount as you said. The sleep seems to be more of an anxiety issue. He wouldn't sleep unless I was there with him on the Marsiva. I hope no one would harm him on that ship of his but Ordis doesn't get any comfort from that. This is the first time I've finally learned how to manage a shuttle so probably will go over when he calls. [Ordis is the only one who could have him at his beck and call.] Reminders will be a thing.

[They're leaving? Fair enough. He's back up and following after her but matching his pace to hers.]

Oh wow, that sounds so awesome! We had some service dogs in the army, but they're not that huge. [Ordis will forever be filed under fussy poop in her brain now.]

I think the specializing also helps people when the crews rotate a lot. That way you only really have to be good at one thing.

You guys got put on different ships? That really sucks. Poor Ordis. [Since Ordis seems a million percent more neurotic than Tenno, at least in this regard.] You guys could transfer to be on the same ship, if you think that would be better than trying to make him learn to deal with the separation. [You know him way better than she does.] Being on a ship with your friends is the best part.

The Windrose is the best ship in the fleet, you know. [She grins.]

Some of them can be bigger than a couple warframes. I have a sunika that can probably reach your shoulder simply sitting. [Finally someone that appreciates animals.]

Only was good at fighting and hunting so secruity fits rather well.

Yea and I don't imagine he's handling that very well to be honest with you. I'm sure to get a dozen frantic messages sooner or later. [Lotus help anyone that has to deal with a riled up Ordis right now.] It would be for the best in the long run. He's not as adaptable to put it simply.

[Eyebrow raise at that.] Oh? Sure looks it at the moment but can't hurt to learn more first.

Wow. Way bigger than me, then! [Enormous puppies! Be still her heart.] Aw, I wish you had your puppy here.

Those are good skills, though. No shame in being a good soldier, and being good at your job is the most important thing!

[She nods.] At least one of you is going to have to transfer then. And not all the ships have private quarters, so be careful. Or room for more crew. I think... uh. Technically the Windrose is at capacity, but I sleep in the armory and Vision doesn't sleep at all, so we have more room than it seems. And we can buy more crew space. I sold some paintings on the station so I have money for it!

[She's just about bursting with pride.] Our crew is strong and everyone gets along, so we've got good morale. Everyone works really well together. We've only had one ship battle, but our performance was satisfactory, and I'm really proud of everyone because everyone was a civilian at the time but me and Captain Romanoff.

She's a really good kubrow. The best I could ask for with the ability to tear down enemies but super sweet when out of missions. You should've heard Ordis when I got the incubator. He wasn't too thrilled but I think he has a soft spot for her even if he won't admit it ever. [Puppy sunika was apparently passing in Ordis' opinion.]

I wouldn't mind knowing others though. Better to be well rounded than the one to turn to when things go south.

[He wasn't thrilled about having to share but it was livable. Ordis though was probably going to need space and secruity. He was isolated as a ship so being human was bad enough but throwing him out into the open seemed too much.] Private quarters would be preferable if it can be accomplished at all. I'd hope you'd be back in your room soon though.

You've certainly got a nice order to the place. [Things seemed as smoothly run as the relays.] Civilians held their ground? You all must be fierce fighters now.

Awww, what's her name? [She giggles.] Ordis is definitely a poop.

Oh definitely. The weapons are easy enough to deal with. Some of the shits kind of aggravating though. Like if there's no one with a pilot augment aboard, it doesn't matter if you actually know how to pilot, your ship is still slaved completely to the Marsiva. Or if there's no one with security on board, you don't get guns even if you would qualify for it fine. I think people can change their augments though? I think captain Romanoff did when we didn't have a pilot.

[Vague hand wave.] Hopefully, if Dr. Crusher can fix my back. Well, when she does it. It wasn't so bad, but then I had to explain the chain of command to Theon and I kind if might have made it worse a little bit.

Everyone does their best!

Athena. Her first mission was on Olympus, Mars so it seemed suiting. [If only Ordis was here, he'd be going red in face and corrections everywhere.] Might need to tell him that.

The weapons are at most the caliber that the Grineer scavenging teams would use so nothing terribly complicated to use or maintain. That sounds...frustrating to put it lightly. So more showing that this Atroma has control over everything. Switching our augments though seems handy if there are too many of one augment.

Speedy recovery then. Oh and why is it worse? [Weird that someone had to learn chain of command honestly.]

That's a really pretty name! [It sounds familiar, but lots of things do. She assumes she knew about Athena once and has forgotten.]

Pretty much. No plasma weapons, which is total bullshit. But yeah, you got it. Thinking like a team player!

Oh. He talked shit like a scrub so I had to take his punk ass down. He shut the fuck up and listened once I had him choked off with the chain and then I gently explained things to him!

[Gentle. Uh. Wrath.]

[They arrive at the galley.]

[personal profile] tennohno 2016-03-17 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks.

Plasma would've been great but I can settle for ballistics. It'd be great to have swords or so in there as well. Close quarters is a worthy skill as much as being able to fire a weapon.

[He sticks by her side for now but starts glancing around, surveying the layout.] So disrespected an authohrity and paid for it. Understandable.

[personal profile] pain_train 2016-03-17 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
Definitely, swords are way better. We don't get anything good as standard armament, but I'm figuring once I've got my back fixed, I'm going to save all my money so I can get something custom built at one of the stations. Then maybe get Vision to do some kind of science shit on it. He's really good at science shit cause he's a computer person.

Yeah. He's got a problem with girls, and his captain's a girl too. Seriously dumb.

What do you like to drink?
tennohno: (Default)

[personal profile] tennohno 2016-03-18 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
Swords, axes, scythes, and so on. I've seen someone use an axe that's bigger than you. [Granted the scindo can be slow than his preferable choice, the kamas.] Healing is a good priority but that sounds like a worthy endeavor. Science shit?

I don't see how someone's gender could affect their ability to do their jobs. Half of the leading syndicates in the origin system are run by females. [Made no sense to hold a disdain based on gender.]

Water would be fine.

[personal profile] pain_train 2016-03-19 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds awesome! [Not like she's that big, though.] Sloth had a sword that was taller than me. She was fucking badass.

Yeah, I don't get it either. I guess Theon comes from some kind of fucked up place. Your world sounds more reasonable.

[She goes to get the water. Glass for Tenno first, then she makes herself a drink that is bright, unnatural pink.]
tennohno: (Default)

[personal profile] tennohno 2016-03-23 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Sounds like she was quite the fighter. [Still surprising to find someone that appreciates talks of weapons let alone animals.]

Where I come from, it's still a fucked up place as you put it. Just in a different way. Having an issue with someone's gender is a speck compared to the atrocities of the Grineer or Corpus. You either work together or you fail.

[Is...is that drink bright pink? He raises a brow at the weird coloring, wondering what exactly made it be so.]

Thank you. So what else is there about the Windrose?

[personal profile] pain_train 2016-03-24 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
She was. All of the sins were. It was our job!

[She nods.] Maybe that's it. Maybe you just have bigger problems, so little stupid things aren't worth worrying about. That's how it was for us on the Line, too. When you're fighting to survive, the little shit stops mattering.

[Yes, yes it is. And she notices, holds it out toward him.] You can have a taste if you want.

Oh, um. So lemme see.

We got a pilot, so we can free navigate. And we have a med bay, and of course my armory, and Vision is an engineer. He's a computer person too so he's super good at engineering and he has fish and grows kelp that tastes like vat bacon, which is awesome. And we have Castle, who is in charge of the cleaning bots! So everything is very clean.

The kitchen's better than average and we got improved bathrooms so we get 30 whole minutes of hot water every hour! It's like a fucking hotel!
tennohno: (attempts to be nice)

[personal profile] tennohno 2016-04-03 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Sins? [That doesn't make sense at least not to him.]

Fighting to survive usually tends to be the priority rather than squabbling over differences. The Orokin were more so focused on the latter at times and well they're now dead. [Mind the fact that him and the other Tenno caused that.] Grineer and Corpus seemed to be much better but I wouldn't give them that much credit.

I'll pass for now.

[He nods while he listens because everything so far sounded pleasing and so far she had him at private rooms and warm water. He didn't remember the last time that he got to feel warm water. Ordis would appreciate the cleanliness...except for the morale officer but he'll leave that part out.]

Rather tempting. I think I could see a transfer to here. Maybe convince my partner to do so too.

Oh. So in the Proles army, the mobile infantry division was called the Ghost Wolves. There were seven platoons of us, and each lieutenant heading a platoon kind of got named the same as their plat, right? So there was Avarice, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Pride, Sloth--and me! Wrath. We were like balls out fast attack, close range assault specialists.

Aw, it's sad to hear when people are all dead. Unless they were bad people, in which case, fuck 'em.

[She shrugs.] Suit yourself.

Awesome! I'll make sure there's rooms for you guys when the transfers go through! Most badass ship ever! [Offer of the brofist.] Kitty's gonna love you guys, too.
