[In light of certain updates from certain hunters, Nami is trying really, really hard not to take her impressive temper out on the person who's effectively her roommate on the Bloodsport.  But being angry and trying to convince yourself not to lash out at someone you think may deserve it but might not so let's be nice about it doesn't really help your mood any.  Nami doesn't want to lay into Cas.  So Nami avoids Cas.  Just for a little while.  Because she respects their friendship enough not to damage it in a fit of anger, but also because she thinks trying to punch an angel might be bad for her hand.  You know.

So Nami is avoiding the Bloodsport.  Which isn't that hard when you've somehow found yourself working at both bars on the Iskaulit.  She pulls all the extra shifts she can, keeps busy, works her temper off in fits and starts, and devotes some of her extra time to visiting the gardens to see how her mikan saplings are going, and generally explores what the Iskaulit has to offer.

Really, you can find her drinking at a bar, behind a bar, or anywhere else on the ship.  Pick your poison.]

It would be for me, too, if I hadn't already been in a place where I saw it happen. And it kind of sucks. You'd get stuck grieving for a person while knowing they're coming back in a few days anyway.

Better than the alternative, though, I guess. I just want to know if the same weird rules apply.

Anyway, about your other question. What about a pirate that's also a ninja. That sounds like a pretty cool combination. Why pick one or the other, really?

A ninja pirate. Kind of sounds like we'd be breaking some kind of universal law there.

Really? Seems like a silly, specific law to me.

Well look, the universe is a wider place than we all thought, right? They've gotta exist out there somewhere.

Exactly! That way you can get the best of both worlds! Ninja rope swinging pirates on boats.

Mind you, I know a few pirates who tend to act like supposed ninja anyway...

Then what about ninja space pirates? Have you ever seen one of those?

Having never been in space before this? Though I don't think there'd be much difference when you get right down to it except their fashion sense would suck more.

Why would the space ninja pirated have worse fashion sense? After all, they'd have a whole extra genre of clothes to try out!

Have you seen the jumpsuits they left us on this ship? If that's what doubles for a uniform around here, I despair for any such space pirates.

Okay, you have a point with the jumpsuits. But some of the planets we've been on have had some fun sense of style. I'm not sure judging the style this place gives on the rest of the universe is very fair.

I don't know, I haven't seen anything particularly fantastic that I couldn't have just found at home. Clearly they stole all their sense of fashion from us to begin with.

Oh, well, if that's the case then the place I come from must just be really boring if most of what you've seen is stuff you can find at home.

I don't know. Where'd you get your coat from?

I did get the coat from home, but I must admit, I'm more of a trend setter. In that what I wear isn't completely impractical and has a colour other than brown or darker brown in it.

But does this mean you like my coat?! [Hot girl likes his coat. Score!]
