[Takeshi's kept to himself, mostly. Maybe it's a strange depression phase — he's usually very productive, really!! Before he was always doing a job, after their ship crashed on a planet, or before that, when he was morale officer on the Tranquility. But now... Now everything feels so weird. He has his own little room again, but his things... they're gone. He used to have the wooden cut-outs his dad made him. Reika and Mattie, the princess-warrior and dragon. Now they're gone... and so is his drawings. Things that reminded him of good things. Well! He's not gonna let it hold him back anymore!

Which is why he's randomly teleporting into everyone else's ships to look around them. In your kitchens, your cargo bays, your medical areas and main controls. Everywhere. What? Nobody ever said touring the fleet was off-limits! He's got his flexi-armor on under his large sweater and a small holster with a gun on his hip beneath the hem of it. Because that's normal. Just like it's normal to wander around people's places of living.

... Ahem, but the Blue Fish's door is shut, and he just knocks and waits in front of it expectantly. Not sure if you can see him out the door, seeing as how he's like... not even four foot tall yet. But he's there.

After he investigates thoroughly, he goes to the gym, because now that he doesn't have his power suit? He's gotta get fit and prepared as best he can. Granted, he's by no means going to take anyone in a fight, but he's still gonna practice. His dad, he practiced, like, all the time! So it stands to reason he's gotta work out, too! You can hear is little huffs and puffs all the while; a careful release of air as he punches.



He can be seen punching a bag on the lowest section (because, y'know, shorty), his brow fixed in a determined stare. While he's clearly not inflicting any damage with those strikes because he's not exactly grown enough to, anyone with any skill in hand-to-hand combat may notice that he's actually not throwing punches with reckless abandon like a child playing pretend. No, actually — it's a genuine technique, albeit not perfected yet. He had studied his adoptive father quite often and picked up a few moves of his own, to be sure.

[ He looks at the gears in his durasteel hand for a moment then picks his head up and crouch down beside this weirdly mature little boy. ]

You're right. Adults are dumb. [ He starts off light, admitting is the first step right. But his tone is more serious when he continues. ] But when they do dumb stuff, it's their own fault. They have years and years of experience, in life and in battle, to know when their actions aren't the best. They should know better because of it.

When you're a youngling, you have so much to learn. So much life to experience. And so much potential to remake our own mistakes that we will always feel a need to watch over you to tell you that it how things ought to be, what's good and what's bad. Do you ... Do you understand that?

[He glances away, relenting a little.]

I guess so... It's important to be good and follow the rules... And adults show me how to write better.

[ Anakin follows Takeshi's line of sight then back at him as he recites an old Jedi saying. ]

[ He push aside the slight discomfort at his reliance on his Jedi teachings and smiles faintly but sincere. ] Thanks to you, I'll know better than to rush around with a cart full of things next time.

I guess you could say you've helped me find patience today.

Oooh, that sounds cool! You musta' worked hard to mesmerize that!

[Ah, but here! We're almost all cleaned up now.]

It's good to be patient sometimes. Liiike... When you draw something, you gotta take your time, or it won't be as good when you're done. [He looks so pleased.] Are you a real patient person?

[ The corner of his mouth tugs upwards. He looks a bit sheepish. ]

That depends on what I'm supposed to be patient about. Long flights like these? I can't stand it. But sometimes, I have to be patient if I want my plans to unfold the way I want it to.

[ He gathers up the last gears and lifts the box back on the cart. ]

Hey. If you like drawing, I'm sure my captain can spare some of her art supplies.

Oh, I guess I see. I get a little bored, too.

[Hence him WANDERING ALL OVER PEOPLE'S SHIPS.

Your captain likes to drawl?

I think she likes... [ He thinks about that phallic sculpture that Alex wants him to make for her. For reasons. Probably to make him suffer a little. ] ... Art.

[ He shrugs quickly. ]

Yes, she likes to draw. You want me to send some art supplies over to your ship?

[throwsdown]

That be real nice! Super cool!!

[And for all the energy and excitement — like a kid at a birthday party — the response supplies him, he just as quickly tries to temper it down into something less immature and more focused. He flusters a bit.]

Are you sure? That she wants me to have any?

I-I don't like to take stuff that's not mine; some people don't like it! Some people get mad.

[sandhate]

[ He's just glad that this kid is happy. He's so eager to avoid kids that he forgets it must suck to be a kid. ]

I'm sure she wouldn't mind you borrowing her art supplies, she has a whole art studio on Iskaulit set up for that kind of thing. Just maybe show her what you made. And if she's still mad and wants to turn you into a toad, I'll take the hit for you. Don't worry about it, kid.

[throwsdown]

[He looks absolutely mortified at the response.]

Turn me into a toad...?!

That's scary...! But I won't want you getting toaded, neither!

[ Awkward laugh track. ]

Oh, I'll just be extra nice to her in case she feels like turning people into toads. I'd say I have a 50/50 chance. Besides, have you tried being a toad before? Who knows. Maybe it's not so bad.

[throwsdown]

[He makes THE MOST UNIMPRESSED FACE EVER.]

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that. I know some very good people who are [ he paused and pulls a face ] warty.

[throwsdown]

You know people like that?

[a pause, and he lowers his voice a bit.]

... Are they the nice kind of aliens that stay here?

[sandhate]

He's back in my home universe. [ still weird to say that but he's getting better ] His name's Dex and his warts are just part of him. It doesn't fall off and get into the soup at all. He's the best. He used to give me slices of cake when my Master wasn't looking.

[ he lowers his voice too, conspiratorially ]

...Who are the nice kind of aliens here?

Miss Ahsoka and Miss Hera!! They're very nice.

Most of the time, aliens want to eat me.

[sandhate]

Oh, the nice aliens. [ he nods, visibly cluing in ] They don't have warts... That I know of.

Are they big and scary aliens? Either way, I'm sorry, kid. You haven't been running into the right kind of aliens then.

[throwsdown]

Yeah... They do a lot of bad stuff at home.

I gotta be careful if I go back, 'cus they were destroying everything when I left.

[He nods solemnly.]

[He straightens up, looking quite serious.]

I gotta go home someday, because I can't leave my team behind!

Even if things are bad, I gotta' do my best and keep fighting there.

Of course you do.

[ Despite being sent into civil wars at an early age himself and having sent thirteen year olds in a war zone as well, this kid is so young. So small. He can't imagine putting him into the field. ]

Think of this as time away that you can take to get stronger. Train as hard as you can here before you go home. You can do your best here.

[He nods firmly.]

[ He mirrors Takeshi's firm nod, though his is more grim than determined. ]
