[Arthur turns on the video, and it appears he's hanging out in his bunk on the Red fish. He holds up a small moleskine notebook, turning the page to the camera and letting it adjust. On the page is a very neat, realistic sketch of a woman's face, delicate with big eyes and long dark hair. He flips it to the next page, where he sketched a man's face, with bigger lips and scruff around his mouth. He takes the notebook away so the camera can focus on his own face.]

Those are just some sketches of people I know. I was thinking maybe I could try and draw things for people. I can even try for some portraits of people from your home, if you'll describe them to me.

[ooc: The drawings are of Ariadne and Eames from Inception. I really like the idea of Arthur sketching people in his notebook, and I imagine his style of art like sin_repent's version. ANYWAY, feel free to have facetwin confusion with the drawings if you'd like.]

[A chuckle.] No, I don't mind. It'd be nice to have some company.

[Yang smiles back.]

All right. Why not? What ship are you on?

The Red fish. So I'll see you in a bit?

[Yang nods.]

Yup. See you in a few.

[Sure enough, after a few minutes Arthur will hear a tentative knock at his door.]

[He opens it, letting her inside with a grin.] Hey. I realized after we hung up that we never exchanged names. I'm Arthur.

[onlyburnhotter]

Ah! You're right, we didn't.

[Yang lets out a soft burst of laughter at that.]

I'm Yang. Nice to meet you Arthur.

[dontthinkaboutelephants]

[He chuckles with her.] Nice to meet you, too. Is the kitchen an okay spot?

[onlyburnhotter]

Works for me.

[After all, Kitchen means potential snacks right?]

[She steps out of the way, letting him pass and lead on.]

[He leads her into the kitchen. He's been carrying some paper and a pencil with him, and he sets those down on the table.] Can I offer you anything? Goo, or something to drink? I'm afraid I don't have any real food yet.

[onlyburnhotter]

[Yang snickers a little at the word "goo." Well said, guy. She's about to take a seat, but instead she stands up and begins to walk about the kitchen.]

It's cool, I can get it. Where do you all keep your "goo?"

[He waves in a general direction to where the goo is stored, and slips into a chair, drawing a leg up so his foot is resting on the edge of the seat. He picks up a pencil and finishes the smile on another person's drawing, a young, handsome man, regal-looking.] I don't think you ever told me who I'm gonna draw.

[Yang's rummaging about in their kitchen at the moment, but she turns her head around to better answer Arthur's question.]

Oh, right. It's a drawing of four people actually. Is that okay? Or too much?
