video/optional action
Who: Arthur
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Red fish if you want
When: Today
[Arthur turns on the video, and it appears he's hanging out in his bunk on the Red fish. He holds up a small moleskine notebook, turning the page to the camera and letting it adjust. On the page is a very neat, realistic sketch of a woman's face, delicate with big eyes and long dark hair. He flips it to the next page, where he sketched a man's face, with bigger lips and scruff around his mouth. He takes the notebook away so the camera can focus on his own face.]
Those are just some sketches of people I know. I was thinking maybe I could try and draw things for people. I can even try for some portraits of people from your home, if you'll describe them to me.
[ooc: The drawings are of Ariadne and Eames from Inception. I really like the idea of Arthur sketching people in his notebook, and I imagine his style of art like sin_repent's version. ANYWAY, feel free to have facetwin confusion with the drawings if you'd like.]

Hey! That looks like Meathead! Only all cleaned up!

Arthur raises a brow.] Meathead?
[Okay wait what.] Wait, someone here looks like this drawing?
[He holds up the drawing of Eames again and points to it.]

[Poor Max.] I'm guessing he just looks a lot like my friend. Which would delight my friend to no end, I'm sure.
[Can he even call Eames his friend?]

[No, she knows that's not him, but the resemblance is uncanny.]

[Okay, this is getting kind of hilarious. 'Meathead', 'Fool', he seems to know a lot of people. Eames would be intrigued by this.]
So you're a friend of his.

[This is really strange. He taps his pen against his notebook.]
I was attempting to sketch my... friend. A man named Eames.

[She doesn't sound challenging in her question, more so genuinely interested. Perhaps considering whether or not to take Arthur up on his request?]

You can draw people? Do I gotta pay you?
I'd like pictures of my mom and — my two dads!
[This is an extraordinarily exciting prospect.]

[It's going against all his instincts as a businessman (thief), but this is about giving people a piece of home, not filling his pockets. For once.]
All right, good. If you can send me descriptions of them, I'll make some sketches. Make sure you describe them in as much detail as possible. And then you can tell me which parts are wrong, and I'll correct them.
What's your name?

It takes a talented artist to work without the aid of a model. Or so I have heard.
