[Arthur turns on the video, and it appears he's hanging out in his bunk on the Red fish. He holds up a small moleskine notebook, turning the page to the camera and letting it adjust. On the page is a very neat, realistic sketch of a woman's face, delicate with big eyes and long dark hair. He flips it to the next page, where he sketched a man's face, with bigger lips and scruff around his mouth. He takes the notebook away so the camera can focus on his own face.]

Those are just some sketches of people I know. I was thinking maybe I could try and draw things for people. I can even try for some portraits of people from your home, if you'll describe them to me.

[ooc: The drawings are of Ariadne and Eames from Inception. I really like the idea of Arthur sketching people in his notebook, and I imagine his style of art like sin_repent's version. ANYWAY, feel free to have facetwin confusion with the drawings if you'd like.]

Or stupid. [He counters with a self-deprecating smile. Somehow he doesn't think him implying it's stupid to do things for free will upset this woman.

He nods slowly.] Okay. If you'd like, you could come over while I draw the first sketch. Or you can just describe him and I'll have a rough sketch sent your way in a while.

[He's curious about this woman, and would like to talk to her longer.]

I haven't yet had the opportunity to see much of the other ships. I have no objection to meeting in person.

[Oh, but you know. They've forgotten something up to now.] My name is Caterina Sforza. May I ask yours?

Ah. Pleasure to meet you. I'm Arthur Hall.

[He nods.] I'm on the Red fish, if you'd like to visit.

I would be glad to. Where should I meet you once I am onboard?

In the kitchen, if you will. I'll gather my things and be waiting there.

[Because it feels weird bringing people to his bunk.]

[That would be a good choice, Arthur. She wouldn't have been horrified, but she would have given you the side-eye. As it is, she gives a nod in answer and flips off the video feed

And, indeed, it's not long until she arrives, entering the kitchen with the sort of commanding grace that makes it seem as if she owns whatever room she's in.]

[He looks up from his paper, already sketching someone else's request. He stands politely and smiles.] Ms. Sforza?

'Lady Sforza' is most correct, if you wish to keep to formalities.

[She aims a charming smile in Arthur's direction, extending her hand for him to take.]
