[A lot has gone on lately, many different conversations that in some form or another had Furiosa thinking about home. Even her experience ~~headbutting~~ helping Max took her back, and while she has been in the Fleet for some time now, the curiosity about the fate of those they left behind hasn't lessened. It's been unsaid, and she tries not to worry herself about it since there's nothing she can do, but she wonders. How would everyone fare? Who would take up in her stead? The Wives? The remaining Vuvalini? The past week has made it hard to forget about, so maybe if she indulges in dwelling in it]

[She opens a video, looking slightly worn after the debacle with Max's tooth and her own lingering concerns about home, but otherwise she seems to be doing well.]

Does anyone else wonder about the state of the homes we were pulled from? Anyone ... else ... feel like they're missing out on responsibilities?

I suppose it does. I rose up through the ranks of a tyrant until I gained a position driving the war rig, and utilized that in order to escape. [As well as being convinced to help others in the same endevor.]

The war rig is a tanker trailer we used to transport water and Mother's Milk to Gas Town and Bullet Farm for trade. Had to be outfitted with defensive and offensive mechanics to fend off bandits and Buzzards.

I think I can picture what all of those are. The Buzzards though? Some kind of creature or just opportunists?

A tribe. Their territory runs near the Citadel and sometimes they try to raid our convoys.

Yeah, I imagine even with defenses it can be easier getting resources from other people than it is to forage or produce your own in a wasteland.

You find the oases and you connect them. That's the only way you'll get a diversity of goods.

Possibly. We'd need to find out what things are like at Gas Town and Bullet Farm.

Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you. You might need less of those bullets of people are taken care of though.

Unfortunately I don't think our world quite works that way. We have have the Citadel under control for now, but the Wasteland is large; if we've at least got the bullets on our side, that's a boon.

There are, and the occasional lone survivor. Under the old rule we'd send out raiding parties to scavenge for supplies and blood bags. Cars, guzzoline, weapons, ammunition.

[She wondered what the Citadel would do now, and if it was true they'd be going back from the moment they were plucked? That would a be a problem she'd have to confront.]

Blood bags? [While there are plenty of medical reasons for such her mind goes to vampires first. This is what happens when you spend too long in Marvel and RP.]

Yes, people. [She nods in affirmation, her expression grim. She didn't like it either.]

Half-lives bear the mark of the poisoned world; tumors, lesions, lumps ... they never make it that long. Warboys ... were the dedicated army of the Citadel.

If I don't want to answer something, don't worry; I won't. [Right now these questions are harmless to her. It was just a simple fact of life for the world she grew up in.]

I know it's not a very pleasant picture. [Especially since coming here and seeing what sorts of worlds others came from.]

No, but it's familiar in a way. My world developed differently, but it also hasn't been like that as long.
