[Al had promised himself that he was going to keep his head down and stay out of trouble as much as he could, so even when they got to the planet, he didn't leave the ship all that much. He'd procured a gas mask, shaped by alchemy to resemble his old armored face, but other than that, he spent the first part of their landing on the ship.

He worked out a lot, and sparred, keeping his strength up.

However, he soon got restless, and sometimes he could be found trying to persuade Cosmic the fox to wear a gas mask so they could go out for runs. He didn't succeed.]
