[Lily turned to the screen and smiled, she was holding a parchment and glancing down at it before she started speaking.] Hogwarts has a tradition of sorting students when they arrive. They sit an old, worn hat on your head and it reads things about you that you don't even know yourself, your hopes and dreams and ambitions. The Sorting Hat decides where you will go and who will become the family you have there.

[She smiled and looked up again.] Gryffindor, where dwell the brave of heart. Their daring, nerve and chivalry set Gryffindors apart. It's a Gryffindor who is celebrating a birthday today and I would like everyone to join me in doing what James Potter hasn't managed yet, attend the Fleet's first Quidditch themed party on the first Breath, hosted by Cheese Sandwich and myself.

[Lily closed the broadcast and helped Cheese with the last minute details that were necessary for any party. She was saving the taller decorations for Alistair since he had offered to help for cake.]

[He grins happily, giving a little bow. ]

I think it's brilliant! It's absolutely wonderful Cheese. And when James gets here we can sing Happy Birthday to him.

Wow, if that was an actual position, I'd so be there. I'm much better at that than being a pilot.

We should talk to some people, though I'm not sure who. I bet they could really use someone to make sure all our spirits were raised.

And I'd be just the pony for my job. It'd be great doing what I'm actually destined for more than I am right now.

I think I'll look into this and see if we can do it.

We absolutely do! Atroma do too much to try and keep us down. About time we fought back with some real happiness.

I hadn't thought of it that way, but you're right. This is a time where we need to fight back, and living, having happiness is one of the best ways to fight.

Of course it is. That way, they can't see they're getting to you, and they lose that tiny little piece they thought they had on you.

Back home we could use a bit more of that, maybe if I make it back I can see to it. Fighting by being happy and keeping life going.

I recommend it. Sure, there's always some weird evil-stuff going on, but so long as you smile and keep everypony else smiling, then it's not as dark as you think.

We have magic back home, and it's always sort of been rumored that love is a magic of it's own and it is extremely powerful. Maybe this is part of why that is.

Oh wow, yes! One of our princesses wields love magic. It's really cool!

You have princesses? I had no idea there was such a pony society.

We do! We have four of them, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence and Princess Twilight Sparkle. They're all alicorns, and they look after our world. They're all pretty amazing.

Alicorns? I don't know what those are.
