[Lily turned to the screen and smiled, she was holding a parchment and glancing down at it before she started speaking.] Hogwarts has a tradition of sorting students when they arrive. They sit an old, worn hat on your head and it reads things about you that you don't even know yourself, your hopes and dreams and ambitions. The Sorting Hat decides where you will go and who will become the family you have there.

[She smiled and looked up again.] Gryffindor, where dwell the brave of heart. Their daring, nerve and chivalry set Gryffindors apart. It's a Gryffindor who is celebrating a birthday today and I would like everyone to join me in doing what James Potter hasn't managed yet, attend the Fleet's first Quidditch themed party on the first Breath, hosted by Cheese Sandwich and myself.

[Lily closed the broadcast and helped Cheese with the last minute details that were necessary for any party. She was saving the taller decorations for Alistair since he had offered to help for cake.]

This must have been a very wise person. Someone who knows more beyond his years. Or her years.

At least more wise in their words to others than they might be for themselves.

Well that person might not have someone like James in their lives.

No, the only such person I know like that ... is, alas, myself.

Well Potter would have his work cut out for him to make me like him as well as you. Besides, I have met someone who is funny and doesn't hex people or show off. And he's a king to boot.

You know ... I am well pleased to have a friend like you. I didn't even have to pay you. Potter is a lucky man.

His name is Alistair, he comes from a world with magic but it isn't' like mine. It sounds as though they are far more dangerous.

Oh, that young gentleman! I am well aware of him. He is a reasonably considerate ... king. For a king.

I'm not entirely sure how one gives lessons in being short and obnoxious ... but I shall try.

How about being tall on charm and humor? I like you and as you are and that is what I would like o see in more people.
