Oh... Um, sure. I guess so. [She reaches up to tuck back a strand of hair, feeling kind of embarrassed by the interest. It's sweet though like most things Winn related.]

You don't have to I just -- if you want, I'd like it. [ it's his turn to hide behind his drink; he doesn't want to make her uncomfortable. ]

[It's kind of a good uncomfortable. No one has been this interested in her interests since.........ever? Was it ever? Well, her parents probably were.]

[ he puts on his best confused face, because why have a multiverse if you're not going to have fun with it? ]

Ok, ok, seriously -- other than the stuff you know it's mostly TV, video games, and takeout - ketchup on the hotdog and I always wanted a pet dragon? Does that count?

[Somewhere another version of Kitty is smiling at the dragon comment.] Ketchup? Wow... I mean, we tried, but I don't see how this is ever going to work. We had a good run? [Chicagoians are pretty hardcore about mustard on hotdogs. Tomatoes? Sure. Ketchup? Never!]

Don't be like that - we don't even have hotdogs here! [ he knows she's kidding, but even still his kidding back instinct...is about begging for his place. is that a little sad? he feels like it might be a little sad. ] I promise if we ever get some, I'll eat them with whatever you like. If I can swallow what passes for a hotdog here the relish isn't really gonna be a problem -

[You are the saddest puppy in the entire pound. She stretches a hand out to place over his.] Kidding. Kidding. Besides, the dragon answer more than made up for your misuse of condiments.

[ he really is. he smiles at her, and it won't take too much imagination power to see a tail wagging. ]

So what're your answers?

Well, hot dog obviously needs to be Chicago-style. So, poppeyseed bun, mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, one pickle spear, sport peppers, and celery salt. You know, and the hot dog.

The animal is probably a dog. I liked the dragon answer though. I'm also in love with Allen's golem, Timcanpy. He's actually here. Maybe you'll get to meet him sometime. Not that I'm calling him an animal!

And for fun... I spend a lot of time training and reading which is true both places. Also, just talking to people which is part exploring this place and trying to figure it out and part just...maybe actually being kind of social. And of course taking things apart and putting them back together. That kind of thing.

And cold water.

Basically. Inanimate and brought to life through magic, so...tends to fit. He flies and eats cigarettes and is golden and adorable.

He eats cigarettes? [ he's pretty sure that wasn't in the myth. this is probably not the part that should be bothering him -- magic, hello?? -- but somehow trying to picture it is resulting in a mental image he just can't quite comprehend. ]

Please don't take it pushy, but I need to meet your friends. [ superpowers and golem pets? he wants to be part of that gang, yes please! ]

[That earns a laugh.] Allen was a friend of mine back in the prison. The one here doesn't remember ever being there, so it's kind of a starting over thing. But I'll see what I can do about introductions with anyone you want.

[Since she already had her hand on his for comfort earlier, she's just softly tracing patterns over it now with her fingers.] Maybe you can meet some of the Windrose crew sometime. [You know, like by coming over~]

[ he looks down at her hand on his, before lifting his eyes back to meet hers; if he were an anime character - which, honestly, is not that big of a leap for him - they'd be getting huge and sparkly with excitement about now. he takes her hand in his, giving it a grateful - and comforting, it can't be easy to be forgotten by a friend - squeeze. ]

Yeah? I'd like that. [ and not even just for the implications. feeling included, wanted, like he belongs - that she'd introduce him to her friends, to her crew, to her private space - it all means a lot to him. ]

[Oh, him with the affectionate, eager touches and looks.] It's nothing, really. [So of course she needs to minimize it. Of course she does.]

So -- who else do I need to meet?

[ sensing that he might of just made it weird, he lets go of his hand but doesn't draw it back -- hers was hanging out there first! maybe they could get back to that. ]

[Where is your hand going? Your hand can stay! She doesn't reattach them.]

Well, Kurt is the only person here from home. [So he's the most important.] So, Kurt would be good. There are two, but the one with a red mark over his eye is mine.

He's also blue and fuzzy with a tail and yellow eyes. [And you need to be okay with all of that or she really can't be okay with you. Are you okay with all of that?]

[ he tilts his head a little, like he's trying to figure something out ]

I think I...may have gotten here with him.

[ he recalls someone like that on the marsiva, but he was pretty busy freaking out under his cot at the time, so he could be wrong. he didn't really talk to people offline much - he was too busy latching onto the promise of seeing kara. ]
