Good afternoon, Fleet, I’m Dr. Crusher, of the Blue Fish, [She gestures a hand towards Wrath] this is Wrath, of the Windrose, and we have an important request of our fellow fleet members. Wrath needs to undergo complicated back surgery, involving the removal of cybernetic implants. I have the skills and done the research necessary in order to do this, but I do not have the facilities or all of the equipment that I need. If anyone with medical, engineering, or computer knowledge would be willing to help us construct a surgical suite, I would, of course, compensate you for your time and energy. Please send us any questions you may have and thank you!

[Wrath waves and grins. She's leaning on her familiar cane.] Hi everyone! Um! Like Dr. Crusher said, I really appreciate any help, it'd be great to be back up to full effectiveness and kicking ass! This is so great, I never thought this injury could get fixed so I'm really... just hopeful. So thank you everybody.

And uh. It'd probably also be good to have someone who can talk to the nanobots that regulate my bone growth and muscle fibers. Cuz my old doctor put a governor on the muscles so I wouldn't hurt myself, but once my back is fixed I should get retuned to full speed.

I'll definitely compensate anyone for help too!

I have the latter two, plus the Engineering Augment. I'm sure I could help make some of the items you need. And if you have schematics, I can make anything I have materials for more or less.

They're mechanical? I can talk to them, tell them what you want them to hear. [The nanobots, he means. Come to think of it, he hasn't really utilized his Engineering augment since he's been here... But he smiles, pleasant and encouraging.] If you like.

No medical skills unless you count battlefield stitches, but I should be able to help with the other bits. I don't have the augment for it, so there might be better choices when it comes to working with Atroma tech. But I'll help if there's anything I can do. I don't need pay for it.

[Wrath is a crewmate and Beverly is a friend of Data's and even if they were both nothing to her she's never needed compensation for helping people. It's a plus if they don't hate her while she's doing it.]

You can talk to them? What exactly do you mean by that?

Anywhere we can find the space, to be honest. It's possible we may have to wait until we find a station with with the right facilities but well... obviously we'd rather not have to do that.

Well, I'll give them directions, and they'll obey. It's just a matter of telling them what to do. I'm able to do that.

[He says this modestly, like it's something he can't take credit for — but regardless of the source of this ability, he'd like to be helpful.]

Nanobots? Primitive, but Ordis may attempt to communicate with them, if given proper facilities as this- vile flesh suit - body does not quite function properly as before.

So I think the only original organs I have left are like my brain and my pancreas and one of my kidneys. My entire skeleton's metalloid composite that's regulated by nanobots, and most of my muscle fiber is tuned synthetics. Which are older than the skeleton. And my right leg and left arm and right eye are all artificial replacements. And. Uh. I think that's it?

Ordis is...not certain he should be engaging in any sort of strenuous activity, regardless of the level of ease.

Ordis is perfectly healthy. This body has not shown any signs of deterioration. [Yes, that's exactly what healthy means.]

Who is this 'Beverly' that you speak of, however?

I would like to see it in person, if you didn't mind, and perhaps with a one of the more complex machines?

Not that I'm not impressed. My apologies if I'm being difficult but I want to make sure I fully understand everything.

I have. If that proves to be my best option, I'll take it, but I want to look into other possibilities first.

We should sit down and compare notes - no doubt the timeline changes have effected your technological development as well. But either way, it will help me immensely to have someone with familiarity with Federation technology.

Absolutely. I don't have much going on, so I can meet whenever you need me to. I'll bring along what tools I have, so we can get a good account of what we might need to beg, borrow, and steal.
