[For those who've been here awhile, a familiar setting appears on the feed. Allen's standing behind a table in his lab, looking tired but positive! Timcanpy sits behind him on a shelf, wearing that looks to be a miniature gasmask fitted for the lower part of his face (?). ]

Hello everyone! If you don't know me, I'm Allen Walker, one of the medics in the fleet. Nice to see you all again.

[He clears his throat]

Anyway, a few announcements today! We'll be holding our bi-monthly blood drive next weekend! The blood donated will be kept in case of medical emergencies that require a blood transfusion - in other words, using scientific methods to help someone whose lost a lot of blood. If you are interested in donating, we will pay you in money or food!

So if you're interested and you're over the age of 16, please fill out the form attached to this video. [And what do you know, it's there] If you're interested in volunteering, please let me know. Vampires interested in volunteering will need to be able to have restraint around blood and will not be allowed to sample the blood. And like last time, the blood drive will be taking place on the SS Paisley. Thank you again for your warm hospitality, Paisley.

And of course, there will be cookies to anyone who volunteers or donates.

As for other business, our fleet has arrived at a moon that you've probably noticed is rather...polluted. So it's been asked by local authorities that I tell people the following advice to help you stay healthy:

Ah...not much.

I am guessing it is not just one problem that you would have to fix. In that case, what seems like the easiest problem? What seems the most capable of being remedied?

The most capable of being remedied? That's a good question...

[He considers it]

Well, speaking for myself...if there was anything dark and supernatural causing this pollution, that'd be fixable. But so far I haven't detected anything like that... [Which honestly, he looks a bit disappointed by that.]

So I guess my other option is to see if I can do anything to make their medicine more effective. Or see if there's a better way to purify the water.

[Wanda nods her head, encouraging him further.]

Something that you could teach them, the planet's residents. Something that could lead to a more lasting solution, and not simply a temporary fix.

[And he smiles at the encouragement]

Yeah...! Something like that!

[he offers a little shrug]

But for now that's just talk. I have to put the work into it before I can get anywhere. [Which is fine. It gives him something to do]

[Wanda smiles, both understanding and impressed with Allen's heart and desire to help others.]

Ha, I don't know about kind. It just seems like the right thing to do! That's all.

[But he smiles at her]

[Wanda smiles back, nodding her head.]

Well, if I am going to be giving blood, I suppose I should-

[Wanda stops herself. Now that she thinks on it... was her blood even safe to give to people? She had no idea if it was. She was sure Hydra had taken her blood at points to test it, but whatever the results were, they certainly had not shared them with her. She supposed it was possible that her blood could be no different than anyone else's, yet... there was lingering doubt there, enough so to be apparent upon her face.]

Ah-

[That's weird]

Is...everything alright?

[Wanda tries to smile, appear nonchalant, but something is still clearly troubling her.]

Yes, I- I was just realizing that I have never donated blood before.

[Least, not in this context...]

Oh, well- don't worry. It's perfectly safe.

We also make sure to test any blood we get. So you don't have to worry about that. [...yeah. He gets that question a lot]

Test? To make sure it is safe to give to others?

Mm. A lot of diseases can be transferred to people through blood. And with humans, there's blood types you have to be careful not to mix together.

And of course, there's always the factor of making sure people's special abilities don't have an effect on the blood as well.

[Wanda visibly relaxes at that. Good, perhaps it would be safe for her to donate after all then. Also, another idea comes to her.]

Would it be possible to see the results of our own tests?

[he nods]

Of course. It might take a week or two, but I can send them to you when they're ready.

[She looks a little embarrassed as she continues with a new request.]

Would you go over them with me?

[She knows she'll likely need a medical professional to understand it all, and since Allen and Dr. Crusher are on the same ship...]

Of course. I wouldn't mind at all.

[Wanda smiles, very appreciative.]
