[so, on the Station, there was a bit of a fight involving a couple of elves and a demi-god, and someone got their heart crushed (quite literally).

the audience loved it! ratings skyrocketed! and there's probably some good gossip to be had.

if anyone wants to catch the participants after it's all over, or wants a place to hold their own conversations or interactions related in any way to the aftermath, this is the place to do it.]

[ But the signs hurt her eeeeyes. She moves further away from the businesses so she can get a better look, then turns the communicator around to show him where she's at. Problem solved! ]

[ MUCH GRATITUDE when she swings the communicator back around. But she also shouldn't be looking at it while walking or she might confuse a left for a right. ]

How are you always so good with directions?

I don't understand why you're so bad with them. How did you avoid getting lost in the wilderness? Everything outside Kirkwall looks the same to me.

[Varric. Mind the fourth wall.]

Now that isn't true.

[ Is that what she sounds like??? How embarrassing. But she can't even say she's never gotten lost in the wilderness. She just understands how better to notice landmarks and tracking out there, even if she isn't remotely at the level of any sort of hunter. In the city it's just noise noise smells, and now lights.

At least so far she is following the directions well enough! ]

Do you know which ships the demons are on?

[He doesn't know where Crowley is, but Chris' dad, well, he has to keep an eye on him now.]

I'll try to remember... Those might be possible destinations for him if he's already angered. I only wish I knew for sure what caused this. He hasn't been acting strange, has he? Different?

[Of course Merrill says exactly what he's afraid could happen.]

No one else is dying tonight. I'm not letting that happen, Daisy.

He's just been his normal broody self. Something set him off. Maybe it was that other Tevinter, maybe he saw that demon on broadcast. I don't know. And I don't know enough about Robin to say if he's a demon or mage or something else.

[ Oh it's so true, if anyone could set Fenris off, it's the appearance of a Tevinter mage. The demons here seem to be even more of a taunt than usual, simply because they're always about. ]

Perhaps Kaneis would know. About Robin, I mean.

I don't think Robin is a slaver, exactly-- he doesn't seem the type to chase people down and sell them to the Imperium.

But owning a slave still makes him a piece of shit.

Yeah, Daisy. That's a good idea. He's going to need some help. Probably some protection. I'll see what I can do on my end, but I'm not an elf. I don't know anything about what he's been through.

Fenris knows better than either of us, really. I'm not certain how far he wishes to help in that regard. I don't think he was planning ahead.

Planning ahead really isn't his strong point.

Do you think he would be interested in the Dalish? He has nowhere else to go. I mean, of course, I know that he can't join a clan here, but...to learn would be a focus.

He might. Our worlds are similar enough that he's probably lost every trace of culture he knew. Also, dwarves are extinct or some shit.

[He's not about to tell her no, even if he's doubtful about Nel's interest. Merrill is trying to help in the only way she knows how.]

What?! But how? No, that doesn't sound like a good story. Perhaps in the chapter next to dangerous tree cults.

But they do seem to treat elves the same.
