[so, on the Station, there was a bit of a fight involving a couple of elves and a demi-god, and someone got their heart crushed (quite literally).

the audience loved it! ratings skyrocketed! and there's probably some good gossip to be had.

if anyone wants to catch the participants after it's all over, or wants a place to hold their own conversations or interactions related in any way to the aftermath, this is the place to do it.]

[the fact that the guy is even trying to help at all makes Nel feel worse--more guilt piled on all the rest.

before he comes up with more useful words, he just gives a miserable little groan, and scrubs a hand across his eyes again. mad at himself; mad that there are still stupid tears coming out of his face.]

It's just... It wasn't worth it at all, though. I didn't say anything good. ...I just started talking about something I shouldn't, and... ugh... one of my friends is in trouble and it's all my fault.

Well, if you got your friend in trouble, crying won't get them out, will it? [There's nothing indicting in his voice, he's just being kind of blunt like he's known for being when giving advice. He's quiet for a brief moment, his brow furrowing a little, and then he shakes his head.] Sometimes you screw up, it happens. That just means now you have to find a way to get your friend out of trouble again, right?

[Right, if only it were that simple; he can't even follow his own advice.]

[he stares at the camera for a minute, looking a vague, dull kind of horrified. like... oh, maybe he should be doing something and he's missing it.]

Maybe there's nothing you can do. But if you don't tell me what happened, then I can't make any suggestions, now can I?

and he's hesitating so bad, since this is exactly what got him in trouble in the first place. but the one big detail that is crushing him still makes it out.]

The guy said he was going to go kill him... and it's my fault.

[Axel's eyebrows inch upward.]

Wait, the guy who...? [He shakes his head. Why would it be Nel's fault?] Kid, if somebody kills somebody else, it's the killer's fault they're dead, not yours. [There are exceptions, of course, but this isn't the time to split hairs.]

But it's over something I shouldn't have said anyway.

[he raises and drops his arms helplessly, jostling the screen.]

If I hadn't told him anything, he wouldn't have known, and everything would be fine...

I have an idea that this guy would have found out one way or another; that's not the sort of thing you can hide forever, right? [He wouldn't have expected this situation, not at all, but it probably would have come to light sooner or later, unexpected or otherwise.]

What sort of authority does Robin have over you, anyway? You know you're not obligated to honor that sort of thing here; whatever the situation back home is, nobody can force you to be in someone's service here.

[Though he knows it can be hard to break free of that sort of thing. If Xemnas showed up here, he would probably still follow orders, because he still doesn't want to get erased.]
