Um. Hi! Sorry to send this to everyone... Well, I had a question I wanted to pose to everyone but then another thing came up and...

Does anyone know how to reattach a door to a washing machine? I had a little mishap... and I still have a lot of laundry to get done. Anyway, it'd be awful if I didn't at least ask how to put it back the way it was.

The second thing is completely unrelated. Does anyone else feel really weird about wanting friends or family to show up? I don't think I'd wish this experience on anyone against their will, but as long as we're going to be here... it'd be nice to have familiar faces, don't you think? How do you deal with the conflict?

And is there any way to request they bring crullers with them?

It was awhile ago. Which. Isn't to diminish the impact. It's just... I don't want to get into that part right now.

But you're right. I haven't been working out and it was a stupid thing to say. I'm just stronger, and I forgot to compensate for it.

No, no, I understand. It's not an easy thing to discuss, especially when it's your home.

Well, it's all right. We can fix it, just work on getting a handle on it. The gravity on this ship is Earth-normal from what I can tell, so I bet your world had a higher gravity or some other factor that's different and it means you accidentally overcompensate in lower gravity.

Actually, it's the sun. Everything I told you before about living on Earth, that's true. I arrived when I was 12. But the yellow sun has different properties than the red sun that Krypton orbited, so I got powers.

Our last few stops have been heavy on the artificial light and lighter on the actual suns... There's one here, but it's further away and with the surface pollution being what it is... I'm still scaled back pretty far.

I haven't decided how "out" I'll be about this... I've told a lot of people, and Winn obviously knows, but it's my information to share so... thanks.

Huh, that's a new one. I'll have to keep that in mind when I get back to my ship and we travel. I've never hard of the different waves emitted by different stars affecting someone like that, but it's a big universe, right?

What can you do in full yellow-sun light?

No problem. Like you said, it's your information to share. Though, I'm going to make an amendment to that - if you're in trouble and I feel it's absolutely necessary for someone who doesn't know to know in order to save your life, I'm telling them, all right?

That's an amendment I can agree to.

So, Kitty likes to make fun of how long the list is... but it's a lot. I'm obviously super strong. Super fast, too. I can fly, I'm impervious to a lot of things, including bullets. I have heat and ice vision, like a crazy-big lung capacity... I can jump really high? And I heal up pretty quickly. And never get sick. Or gain excess weight. On the downside, alcohol doesn't do that much for me.

I think I agree with Kitty - that is a pretty excessive list. You sure you didn't jump out of a comic book or something?

At least you and I have the same thing going for us with the alcohol. It costs more than its worth to get me drunk.

I want to say that sounds reassuring, but no. But, you can work on it by helping lift the door back into place for me. That would make repairs to quicker.

If we need anything welded, I might be able to get my heat vision up to temperature.

Okay let's discuss that particular power right now - no major heat sources on the ship. Last thing we need is a fire and this whole thing blowing up. Fire is still your worst enemy on a ship, especially in space.

No, I don't think we'll need to do very much to it. We should have these parts and tools on board.

Whew. I'd suck it up if I had to wash my clothes in the sink but I'd feel bad.
