[It took some fiddling, but Leliana managed to make the video broadcast work. For a moment, she doesn't speak, not realizing it was on. When it dawns on her, the surprise is there before her expression relaxes.]

My apologies, the technologies of this place are lost on me. I suppose this is the best course of action if I want information, no? I am looking for comrades of mine - Cullen, Josephine, and Inquisitor Trevelyn. I do not know if they are here but it is my understanding from what I have managed to glean from this... device - that they could very well be newly arrived, the same as I.

[Which is something that troubles her. They were all very much needed back home in Thedas not here - wherever here was.]

[With that, she ends the video feed. A polite and succinct post, yes, but internally she was already assessing her situation, analyzing the threat she might very well be under.]

[They would have definitely noticed if their Commander had just up and disappeared. The Inquisitor would have turned over every rock trying to find him.]

[ A pause. She's stumbling and stammering over her words. Normally she's not the first to do the explanation on how time here works or talking a lot. ]

You... wouldn't notice if he did leave. Time works differently while you're here. When you return home, you pick up where you left off. It's like time is frozen back home.

[Oh you poor child. She can read her like a book, just watching her posture and body language. She wasn't sure of herself in this situation.]

I see. Luckily, Commander Cullen is more than capable of taking care of himself so I see no reason to worry if he has returned.

[ Elize is a very easy girl to read. It's not often that she responds to newcomer posts on the network, unless it's someone that sounds horribly distressed. That's when she usually turns up to offer comfort. The fact that this woman comes from Thedas and mentioned Cullen's name is what drew her to the broadcast. ]

Yes. There's no need to worry about him. [ That part might sound oddly confident coming from her. She looked up to Cullen a lot. ] You'll go back someday too! It might be awhile from now though...

[This was no place for a child. Was she orphaned? Alone? Probably not the latter, given how many others occupied the fleet.]

[ And she hasn't grown one bit. ]

[She opens her mouth to answer - to express her condolences that this poor child has been without family for a year - but the words are lost. Could she truly be trapped that long? What would become of the Inquisition? What would become of her.

Excuse her she's thinking this over.]

I apologize. It surprised me to hear that it has been so long for you. I'm not one to be easily surprised, I'm afraid.

[Honestly she doesn't even know what to think. Would all of them be stuck for years - entertaining the masses?]
