[ tadashi isn't entirely sure what he'd expected. more pomp and circumstance, maybe, or just some sort of warning - which was stupid. they hadn't received anything like that when honey lemon arrived or disappeared; why should he expect anything different now?
still, it takes him a few minutes to let the reality of the situation sink in, and he takes an uneasy breath before grabbing his communicator. his voice is uncharacteristically flat, monotone. ]

There were two sides, basically, and Hiro was on the side that I wasn't. Communicating with him was difficult, and we never talked about anything personal. You might have been with him, but I have no idea.
