Push comes to shove, I suppose you could try and pull an alternate universe feint.

What do you mean?

It's, like, endemic to this place. People showing up from alternate timelines or with extra time lived. Heck, even me and Clint don't come from the same point in time.

I mean, that could work, but how likely is it that I'm exactly the same, with the same job, but suddenly in one universe I'm Supergirl and in another, where Supergirl exists, I'm not?

There are thousands -- millions, maybe! -- of alternate worlds, I think. Every possibility is available to you. Even the really really mundane.

Or you could just be very careful about who you tell.

I think I'll go with the latter for now, and change my strategy if the need arises.

Speaking of -- can I ask what your costume's like?

Blue long sleeve top with those little thumb hole things? Very useful for not having my sleeves ride up my arms. It has a yellow belt and a red mini skirt. Don't worry, I wear shorts underneath. I wear it with tights and these really cool red thigh high boots. Oh, and there's the red cape. It helps with aerodynamics.

You wear a cape? Hardly anyone wears a cape these days -- except the Thors, I guess. And my friend Billy. That's so cool. Does that mean you fly a lot?
