KATE BISHOP »
meal-times are predictable. kate spends the half-hour to full hour before suppers in the kitchen. sometimes, everything goes smoothly! but (on occasion) some meals are preceded by a flurrying disaster speckled across the counter and smudged over the appliances. usually, this happens when she decides to cook 'off-book' -- with ingredients provided by her augment's presence on the ship, or through rare supply runs. perhaps you catch her wrestling with a makeshift pizza dough? she's stirring something that might be tomato sauce, and calls out: ] Hey, grab me the salt? Please?
[ or! kate couldn't make off with any of the training bows from the poisoned moon, but she did slick-talk someone into selling her a trio of targets. she sets them up in the cargo bay, not far from the treadmill -- but at a safe enough distance that her throwing knives don't pose a threat to anyone. it might not be shooting arrows, but it feels good to aim something. if she likes you well enough, she may even offer to play a friendly game of knife-darts to pass the time.
about once a week, she tries to talk some of her crewmates into joining her on the iskaulit. it always starts the same way: supper's done, and kate's portioning leftovers into the fridge for easy lunches on the following day. maybe someone's still hanging back at the mess table, and she turns to them with restlessness dancing behind her eyes. ] Wanna get out of here?
Kitchen
Is that what I think it is?

[ she straightens up from the arduous task of dicing protein cubes into little slivers that might maybe resemble cheese when she's done. ]

Or eating some kind of travesty. Either way, Leto is quite happy to skip eating. Still, he's willing to help out and hands the salt over. ]

Of course, what really happens is Hank is shuffled, finds the lab and shuts himself inside.
His first day had been overwhelming in a number of ways, and once the serum wore off, well. The idea of being social at all sort of fell through the cracks, and he really didn't have it in himself to face the world like that. Not yet, anyway. It would have been much easier if he'd had another shot on him, but - at least he wasn't locking himself in there. That was a marked improvement, even if that was his very first urge.
So hey, Blameless. Your newest is bumming around in the labs, pretending that everything is fine and normal and that he isn't hiding. You're 99% likely to catch him there! Or . . . maybe you'll catch him when he realizes he can't hide in there and starve himself at the same time.
Or maybe something entirely different happens, who knows, that's what wildcards are for]
no subject
So she opens the door and peeks in, not expecting to see the big blue guy! ]
Oh! Sorry! I'm looking for the kitchen...?
no subject
No, no - i-it's fine, I think it's—[then he pauses as he registers the face peeking in] Kara?

...Oh, there's why not.
She just freezes in place upon seeing him. She doesn't look aggressive and for just a moment she may even look just the tiniest bit afraid before she pushes any such reaction out of her expression. He wasn't blue and furry last time around, but she knew to expect it. He still...looked different than she remembered. His hair is much shorter all over. And he's wearing more clothes. There's no leering grin and sharp teeth staring at her.]
Serum wore off.

He doesn't have has glasses on, and once he remembers to move he automatically reaches up for them - and stops when he finds nothing. His hand hovers there, uncertain, before gives a quick wave and drops his hand.
She said she wasn't going to hurt him and he believes that, but he hadn't expected to see her so soon. Or . . . at all]
Mm, it did.

lab »
it's not like she had ever befriended the mutant back home, but her version of the man had been there throughout the ordeal with wanda. and kate had heard enough off-hand comments from clint to understand that he ought to be a trustworthy sort of guy.
and she remembers that he (that he, at least) likes tea. so she comes bearing a fragrant gift cradled gently in a mug. after all, she's the ship's cook.
kate knocks on the lab's closed door. ] H-hey? Anyone home?

I hope you're in there, Hank, because I have something I need to ask you.

There's only a touch of the usual nervousness that comes with him walking around like this in his expression, and that's gone as soon as he sees who it is. He might not see eye-to-eye with Erik on this particular issue, but aside from Charles he's the only other person he's completely comfortable around]
Hello to you too, Erik. [he quirks a grin, then steps aside so Erik can come in, pushing the door completely open]

The Stalker | Warframe (Cargo hold)
For now, it is irrelevant. The Stalker has an objective. He may have lost his abilities in the transfer to the Drift Fleet, but his body is still a weapon. It's time to see if this gym will be suitable for his needs.]
