I have heard some interesting things of late, so I thought I'd put the question to you all. When you fall in love, can you only love one person? Can you fall in love with multiple people? Is love something you find yourself stopping after just one?

Hm. Well, I'm hardly typical in that regard; of all that I've learned in my life, how to stop loving a woman isn't one of them.

Oh, lots of reasons apparently. I thought betrayal would be the one to do the trick, but then I was. It didn't change a damn thing except make the memories hurt.

Hm? I heard a fair bit about monogamy of late, which is not something I grew up with.

[Both his eyebrows raise at that little bit of information, but surprise aside there's little judgement in his expression (for once.) His own views on it are, he's aware, very skewed due in large part to his own role models growing up.]

What was it that you did grow up with?

I was raised by a team, so to speak. I had no memories and we all took care of each other. A lot of us had open relationships.
