[ it's not just her, but he's trying his best to ignore it. he follows her out. ]

You're the tour guide, we're just tagging along - [ he's not exactly sure why because everything they say or do just seems to dig a deeper more awkward hole, but they've gone too far to go back now. ]

[it's significantly less awkward than a few minutes ago, at least. He lets everyone go ahead of him to follow behind - but only because he can see over all of them for touring purposes]

I got the editing reference. Someone I knew liked to nickname people after different kinds of edits.

[and to Kara] How long have you been here?

[She smiles over at Winn for that comment.]

What was your nickname, Hank? [She had to ask, okay? Also, she is calling you Hank now. It's a step.]

Hey, I live here [ he's just not on the roster ] I'm just a recluse. [ not on purpose, he's just had a lot of work to keep him busy, so he's mostly been leaving kara's office only to meet people he's made plans with. or kara. ]

Maybe we'll do that capacity upgrade soon.

[ to Hank: ] Almost 3 months? Not nearly as long as others, but considering the sample size here...

It was Static. [he glances over at Kitty and shrugs] It didn't last very long.

And - yeah, that's still pretty long, all things considered. [that was how long he spent in Kyriakos, and it felt like over a year]

Oh. Okay, I already knew that one. But I didn't realize that's how you got it. [If she's honest she figured it had something to do with low humidity and furry and shocking himself.]

Two and a half months for me. It practically feels like time flies by here compared to the prison somehow. [She was there over eleven months and it felt like over six years! Which is odd and specific, isn't it?]

[ he holds a hand up ] Under two.

[ on the one hand, time really does fly; on the other, it feels like it has to have been a lot longer because his situation and his feelings about his predicament have changed so drastically. ]

See? I've been here the longest. Weird.

At least it's not 20 years in the Phantom Zone.

It was my team's theme. [he won't go into details about Rotten, his patron, if only because that's just. Awkward. And the awkward feel of this entire situation is finally going down and he doesn't want to chance bringing it back]

At least - it's not that long? [he says, desperately grasping for the bright side]

Oh that's okay. I didn't have anywhere else to be. [Said lightly like a joke and not like it's skimming the dark truth that two of the three people in this group who she has not made out with already know.]

[ should he be feeling special or offended? ]

You guys have to stop giving them ideas -

[ 'at least it's not this, at least it's not that' it's like he's the only one who's ever watched a movie! ]

[ LUCKILY THE BRIDGE IS HERE ]

I'm pretty sure they already have ideas, Winn.

Anyway, this is the bridge. I don't spend a lot of time here.

[Kitty no. Hank glances at her again, frowning, but he doesn't say anything about her joke. Geez]

They definitely don't need ideas. [he agrees, he knows these sort of places don't need any encouragement whatsoever]

It's - a nice bridge? [not that he has anything to compare to but the Blameless']

[Winn could probably feel a little of both. Don't mind the mutants. They're just going to share a meaningful look, okay? Hers is a little apologetic.]

I'm on ours a lot. Pilot and all. Sadly, it is not a job that comes with my very own couch or lab or... [She looks at Winn.] Did you get perks on the ship you abandoned?

Maybe? [ he shrugs, he barely ever goes there and he never really bothered exploring it too much. he should probably feel bad. he doesn't.

he's mostly curious about that look and -- kind of hanging back to let everyone else to pass him onto the bridge. it's not his favorite part of the vessel. and by that he means he actually kind of hates being here. ]

It has the best view of space. Which... is probably why Winn is hiding behind Hank.

[ she's teasing ]

[he makes a decent hiding spot. He glances behind him to look at Winn]

[The look isn't something she'd explain honestly in front of the whole group even if Kara and Hank already know. Much better to focus on captain scaredy pants.]

He managed to make it to the moon and the Iskaulit at least?

[ which is why he's not asking. too many people around for feelsy talks. for now, he'll fall on his sword and take the jokes - it's not like he's unused to them anyway and hey, at least making fun of his phobia is good for bonding!

the truth is he only really managed to make those journeys because they were for the sake of project plato - for kara - but that's not really helping his case any. ]

And back -- which is way more of a feat.

[ because it meant leaving solid ground, booze, and kitty. ]

[ the thing is, she actually does mean it ]

So. Where to next?

[Hank won't tease, he'll just give Winn a sympathetic look. He isn't afraid of space or heights, but he has other fears, so he gets it]

Bathrooms and bedrooms and cargo which we've all seen by coming on board. [None of that sounds very tour-like except maybe the bedroom and that's just asking for awkward revisited.]

[ and now he feels like a child showing his very ugly drawing to his parents. the teasing is almost better. ]

Touring a spaceship sounds a lot more exciting than it is.
