[He sets his jaw at the yelling and merely continues to clear up the dirty sheets to get them clean. If Ordis wanted to not believe him, then fine. There was no use in arguing over it since it would merely go around in circles and further frustrate them both.]

I'm going to take care of this. Do you need anything else?

[Felt like an errand boy rather than a partner with this...even if he chose to do this.]

[Oh. That question really strikes home for a moment, and he pauses in his fervent ranting to actually feel guilty. This is a bad situation, yes, but his Operator shouldn't be doing anything right now. This...this problem will fix itself somehow. Yes. Of course.]

[How to even broach the subject though?]

Operator please-do not- you needn't for Ordis-

This can be easily done so it's ok. I can make certain they're taken care of.

[The stumbling over his words coming from the cephalon garners a raised brow and a glance over.]

Ordis should be serving the Operator, not the other way around.

[It's definitely guilt now, and there's nowhere for him to sulk off to now that he's in a body.]

Ordis. This is a partnership which means that we can help each other out. You know that or you should. Remember the walking exercises and sleeping at your side.

I just...I care for you and I want to show that. [The sheets are forgotten for the time being in order to approach the cephalon. Hesitating, he pulls him close by lacing their fingers together.] You won't. I give you my word.

Operator....

[It may be different than before, but having the tenno close has always helped his nerves. At the very least, it gives him something else to focus on, beyond his current state.]

Ordis has not forgotten. And he-I trust that the Operator will be there. I promise.

[He gently cards his fingers through the cephalon's hair, making a valiant attempt to keep him calm and show him that things were going to work out. And after a bit, he dips his head down in order to catch him in a soft kiss.]

Good.

[And now it's a kiss, and that's just as effective in stopping his rant as anything else. It's still strange, still nice, still a good reminder that he hasn't been abandoned again and that perhaps this was something to just get through.]

I would appreciate it not happening again though. The animal coming in here, I mean.

[No more fussing. He will certainly call that a successful mission and he gently noses Ordis' temple as he thinks.]

I'll see what I can do. Maybe start locking your door when you're not in here? That could be added to your reminders if you'd care for that.

[And he might steal another soft kiss from him, smiring.}

And as long as you're ok with them, these will continue.

Yes...Ordis will do that. It will take time to remember- it is very inconvenient not being wired into the systems directly.

[But if he was, things like this wouldn't be possible, and that's something that he finds that he's not entirely happy when faced with that prospect.]

Ordis is very okay with them, Operator. Very.

I know. However it's the reminder's job to help you out with that.

[A soft laugh rumbles from him while he rests his head on the cephalon's shoulder, enjoying the hold for the time being.]

Good to know. I should take care of those sheets for you now probably though. So you don't have a bare bunk.

[Talking has helped significantly, but he still frowns at the idea of the tenno doing any work. This isn't quite like asking the man to restory his pilfered foundry parts, it feels more...menial?]

Please teach Ordis? So that he may solve this problem if it occurs again.

...I can do that. Round up the sheets and I'll show you where to do laundry.

[It wasn't a bad thing that Ordis wanted to figure things out on his own and besides the tenno was still willing to help when necessary. This meant less hand holding when it came to tasks. The cephalon was starting to get the hang of things.

So he lets go in order to step away, having enjoyed the hold but it was unnecessary now.]

[Alright, he's taken initiative, the Operator won't have to be bothered anymore. All he has to do is pick up the sheets.

[But he's stuck staring at them for the time, trying to force himself to come in contact with the fur.]

[Glance down at the sheets. Then it's back up to Ordis. He sighs and leans against the wall because Ordis had made it clear that he wanted to handle it.]
