Indeed. It's difficult for him to repress his instincts, though he can be taught. Better not to have the situation arise in the first place.

I'm willing to dedicate ship space to any personal projects. If they're contained, Ordis should have no difficulty, at least.

What's that guy's problem anyway?

Ordis was a heavily damaged AI who has only recently been given an organic body. He is adjusting to that as well as the shock of his transfer here. His emotional instability is at least in part due to a--if you're familiar with the effects of a computer virus?

So it's like someone messed with his head and he didn't heal right?

In terms of injuries, it's as if he suffered physical trauma to the head and was then emotionally damaged in the recovery. I believe he is capable of recovery in a non-violent and low-stress environment; I hope to be able to provide that here.

I didn't know that. I guess I owe him an apology.

His reactions are still quite extreme, I admit. If you should come to a disagreement, please feel free to seek me out. I believe I can calm him in nearly any situation.

He kind of overreacted to Snuggles. An agreement was reached, however?

Yeah I told Snuggles to leave and he did. Poor thing was so scared, I don't think he'll want to go back in there again.

He will stay out if an area is designated off-limits, so I believe that should be fine. I'll increase his treat ration temporarily to deal with the inconvenience.

[Grin.]

Oh, I'm sure he'll be fine with that.
