Masquerade Mingle

[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

<sub>[ Kirk recognizes Kitty, but then he had probably seen Winn working on that dress too, which was something of a give away. He didn't make a concerted effort to either stay away or keep close, wanting to give her time with Winn, but eventually he does come around to her - or maybe she comes to him. It's hard to tell in the crowd, but it doesn't much matter in the grand scheme.

He smiles at her and offers her a bow in greeting, reaching to take her hand and kiss the back if she would let him. ]</sub>

The lady looks even more lovely than usual this evening.

[She recognizes him too. Of course the voice always helps. She let's him kiss her hand. It's not her first time someone has ever made the gesture, but it still surprises her in a delighted sort of way. It's charming, okay?] Thanks. I have to give Winn some of that credit.

He is surprisingly handy. I wouldn't have thought he would be this good with thread and needle.

Turns out he is. He's a man of many talents. [Said fondly.]

The dance floor looked too perfect. It needed some tearing up. [She smiles and offers him her hand.] And as long as you're just standing there you should really help. [By dancing with her.]
