Masquerade Mingle

[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

[Furiosa appreciates the deference, even if she still reacts with some hesitance. She'll settle her right hand and on his left, and nudge his right arm with her nub. Hopefully he's not squeamish about missing limbs, she's certainly notm but he's going to have to get creative with basic formation. ]

[He doesn't bat an eye, but he does pause to think of how to arrange their limbs. He rests his hand a little higher on the back of her shoulder blade and nudges her so her nub can rest on his right arm. He takes her right hand with his left and holds them out, and then he grins triumphantly.] Now we'll just do a simple step and touch. Just mirror my feet.

[He steps out with his left foot, waiting for her to step out with her right foot, and then brings his right foot together with his left, expecting her to mirror his movement.]

[She lets herself settle into his frame, and follows his instructions with a nubile caution.]
