[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

It's ... taken some getting used to.

[She's been here near a year and this is really her first time letting her guard down.]

I hear you. Sometimes I wake up and I think I'm still at home.

Hm. Those days are the worst.

[They usually come after vivid dreaming, which can go either way; hope manifests in seeing the Wives, happy and prospering, the bottomfeeders living with water when they need it, want it. Then there are also nights she's revisited by Immortan Joe, by trials with the other Imperators, with the persisting tension each time she'd attempted escape. Either way, it was harder on those days to fall into what freedom they did have here.]

[But now, she's starting to get it. She attempts to lead Ahsoka into a twirl - which she'd witnessed someone else executing. It hadn't looked that hard ...]

[Ahsoka twirls happily, grinning like a cheshire cat to match her mask.]

Woo--! No chance of that tonight, though!

[Furiosa chuckles, twirl was a success!] No, tonight's going to be a good night, I can tell.

[Ahsoka leans in a little cheekily, grinning conspiratorially.]

Do you have any plans for dancing with anyone special?

[kill_switch]

[Furiosa looks down at Ahsoka, bemused, and chuckles.] Well, my date, when he's ready. Kitty was kind enough to set me up with someone.

[Because honestly it wouldn't have crossed her mind otherwise. But then, she returns the cheeky grin.] And you?

[resnipstance]

[Nosy as always, she perks up:] Oh? Who is it?

I'm not here on a date with anyone, if that's what you're asking. I'm still planning to return home, after all. [Jokingly:] Don't want to break any hearts, you know how it is.

[kill_switch]

Sam Winchester, do you know him? [She's still getting to know him, in between making the rounds to chat with friends, but he seems like a pretty decent guy so far.]

[Furiosa chuckles,] I don't think I do. [Romance was such a distant ideal, she finds it hard to envision it for herself.]

The really tall guy? I know him in passing...

[Ahsoka chuckles too.]

I was just joking anyway. I don't know the first thing about romance, really. It's never really been an option for me.

[kill_switch]

Yes, the really tall guy. I don't really know him that well either, but I guess I'll know better by the end of tonight. [See she wasn't ditching him entirely, just moments here and there while she found her friends.]

Same. But you have the opportunity here, you should go break some hearts, you're young. [And hopefully not as hardened as Furiosa is.]

Oh. I'm... sorry, I should have clarified. It was never an option for me because of who I am and the life I lead, not because of where I was. So, my circumstances on that front are the same as they were back home.

Oh ... [She sounds a little surprised, but she figures she shouldn't be; Ahsoka certainly wasn't human, why would she behave like them?]

Sorry to have assumed. I can't save I've met many non-humans before this place.
