[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

He enjoyed the cajun's company, on many levels, and it wouldn't be much of a party if went all night without at least saying hello. Just coming up to him he could not help but smile at the thought of the potential mischief they could cause.

He reached out and brushed his fingers across the lapels of Remy's suit, smoothing imaginary wrinkles. ]</sub>

Well, would you look at that. You clean up nice, Remy. I almost didn't recognize you.

[Remy grinned from behind his mask at both the other man's actions and his words.] Well, I do have my clothin' on for once, that might be why ya confused. [He chuckling as he got those words out.] Ya ain't too bad lookin' yaself cher, then again, that pretty much true for ya normally.

Oh, maybe that is it! I was wondering where that bite mark went....

_{[ He smirked at Remy, finishing smoothing his lapel and letting his hand drop. ]}

Flatterer. Not trying to butter me up for something, are you?

[His chuckle turned into a full out laugh at Kirk's reply, very much appreciating his style of humor.]

Would I ever? [Remy answered back, shaking his head as he smiled.] Doesn't sound like me at all.

I did think something else was out of place.

_{[ He grinned and reached down to take the other's hand, tugging him towards the dance floor. ]}

You know, the one thing we haven't done is dance. I think we should rectify that, don't you?

I donno, I think what we've done so far be pretty close. A certain rhythm 'nd lots of movement, [Before his grin turned wicked, it reflected through the tone of his voice.] A bit of bump 'nd grind. [He was just too funny, don't you agree Kirk? Tightening his own hold on the other man's hand, Remy let himself be lead onto the floor, giving his own tug to James' hand once they were on it to pull him close.] Ya know, I actually was goin' to ask at the club that night, but something got me distracted.

_{[ Which may or may not be a loss. Their styles of bedroom music might clash and he was perfectly happy making his own as it were. And yes, yes you were hilarious, Remy, which is why he lets you tug him close. No, that's not true, he would have leaned in close anyways, hand resting on his shoulder, the other still twined with Remy's fingers. ]}

Oh? I can't imagine what that might have been. Something pretty or something shiny, perhaps?

[Remy's own hand moved to rest lightly against Jim's upper back, over one of his shoulder blades.] Well, I do like shiny things. [It kind of came with the territory. He then quickly put on a mock suspicious look, it again mostly lost thanks to his mask but the glow from his eyes dipping a little through the mask eye holes as he narrowed his eyes.] Wait, is that why ya brought that shiny drink, ya were tryin' to draw me in with it? Tsk tsk, for shame cher.

_{[ His face morphed into one of mock shock, as if the other had found out some great, deep, dark secret of its. ]}

What? I would never-!

_{[ He stopped himself with a short laugh, moving his fingers to brush along the fine hairs at the nape of Remy's neck. ]}

I wasn't sure what sort of bird I would draw in, but as luck would have it, I attracted the prettiest one.
