[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

"Oh, no, I don't think there's much difference in individual quarters. What I mean is - for example, on the Blue Fish, we have a medical bay because of Allen and I's lab support augments and an armory because of Robb's security augment. Other augments don't have rooms, but they'll have more equipment or access to ship controls that no one can use otherwise."

Oh! I see what you mean. Mm, I have not had much chance to truly explore, yet. Should I...walk and see if the augment ah...responds to anything?

Beverly nods thoughtfully. "That might work. There are only a limited number of things it can be, after all." She lists them off, using her fingers to count as she goes along. "Lab support, engineer, pilot, communications, maintenance, security, cook, tactical, and personnel."

Maglor considers thoughtfully as she lists them. "I have seen an armory, and what the augment assures me is a medical bay. So... we must have security and lab support. The kitchen was terribly unfamiliar, but the augment says it is well stocked, so I assume this means there is a cook. I think... personnel is the one that sounds the most familiar, so I must assume that is the one that I have."

She nods. "It's probably the least obvious one, as I don't believe it imparts any new knowledge or skills, so that makes sense that you wouldn't have realized right away. However, that does mean you should have an extra room on your ship provided for you to do... whatever you want with it, really."

"Oh." He blinks thoughtfully, and then his voice takes a wistful edge.

"Anything at all?"

"Anything." She gives a soft chuckle. "Well, anything within reason, I should say. Probably not a good idea to annoy your crewmates. Not that I can imagine you annoying anyone."

"My brothers and cousins might be able to tell you different." Maglor says wryly, but nods.

"How soundproof are they, do you think? And do you think I would be able to find instruments?"

"As they are, probably not very soundproof - at least, not enough for music. But I'm sure you could talk to some of the engineers here to rig up a soundproofing system.

Finding instruments is going to be hit or miss: it depends entirely on the planet we're on. I would assume you could obtain some here, however, since clearly," she gestures towards the musicians, "They enjoy music."

He looks at the musicians longingly. "I have no currency, or I would ask. While many I recognise, at least in idea if not in form, they have others that I do not know and would love to learn. But I think I will ask my captain if such a thing might be done on the ship. For now, I have my harp, at the least. I am glad our captors granted me that, at the least."

"If money's the issue, I'd be happy to help!" Credits she has plenty of, especially after the dragon incident. Plus, she rarely spends it on anything besides medical supplies. "Who knows when we'll next find a place with musicians?"

He startles, flushing in embarrassment.

"Oh no, I could not impose so! We are only newly met, and I have my harp, after all."

The flush is really cute and only increases her determination to help. But! She remembers that for most people here, money means something quite different than it does to her, so she offers an alternative solution. "I really don't mind, but if it would make you feel more comfortable, you can pay me back later for it?"

Maglor visibly wavers, biting on his lower lip.

"I do not wish you to feel obliged..." But oh, it's been so long since he learnt something new...

"...Only if it causes you no trouble."

"No trouble at all, I promise."
