[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

And I learned form a very early age. Where I'm from, we often have partiers even grander than this.

Even grander...? [ He can't even picture such a thing. ] What sort of parties are they?? How old are you? [ Because he's still under the impression that Loki's a vampire like him, whoops. He assumes 'early age' means from when he was first turned. ]

[complicatedliar]

Victory feasts. Celebrations for holidays. That sort of thing. [He laughs.] I'm over a thousand years old.

[pneumo]

A, a thousand-?? [ Holy crap. Sascha won't be able to disguise his shock, and couldn't even if he's wanted to. He's never met anyone that old before. ]

[complicatedliar]

Yes. More than that, but it is a nice, round number. [He does like to shock people with that.]

[pneumo]

[ Colour him appropriately shocked, enough that he even stumbles a little in the middle of their dance for a moment. ]

What's being that old like?? I thought anyone that old must be stone or something... [ Like, literally stone. Not just old. ]

[complicatedliar]

Oh, but I'm not old. I'm quite young. Barely out of youth.

[pneumo]

Huh??? But...

[complicatedliar]

[He says nothing. He'll just let Sascha mull it over. It's more amusing that way.]

[pneumo]

[ Then enjoy away, Loki! Because he's clearly struggling to piece this together, looking more and more confused and baffled by the moment. ]

But--I'm young, so how can you be young too if you're way older??

A mathematical conundrum.

How long shall you live?

[pneumo]

Um....until I die, I guess! [ If that can happen. He's been beheaded and burned at the stake, and neither of those seemed to do anything. ]

If your life is infinite, when do you stop being young?

[pneumo]

When I'm fully Mature! I guess... I mean, I can still eat raw meat, so I have a ways to go~

That is as good a measure as any.

I bet you only have blood by now huh~ Lucky☆

I eat whatever takes my fancy.

But I thought the older you got the less you ate... [ Is Loki a Weird One like him, he wonders? ]

Perhaps when one is truly ancient.

....Aaagh, I don't understand at all! [ Sascha gives up here, he's just hanging his head for a moment here. ]

When you're older, dear.

[ ...He got called 'dear'♥ Sascha instantly feels better about this entire thing. ]

Do I have to wait a thousand years for that too....?
