[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

She looks down at herself, touching the fabric lightly. "It was actually something one of the merchants was scrapping if you can believe it. When I went looking for something to wear, we sort of just collaborated on an idea."

The merchant talked her into way more detail than she'd intended, and she'd spent far more credits than she'd expected. But she can't say she's unhappy with the results. It's a bit revealing, but it's a costume, and that alleviates a lot of the self-consciousness.

She makes a faint noise of disbelief, though mostly that someone was stupid enough to scrap this thing. "Some people just have no taste. But I'm glad you managed to get to it before he did.

"You must be drawing a heck of a lot of attention."

"Me? Oh no. There's so many other people and costumes to see here, I'm just part of the crowd, I'm sure." Well her ability to be center of positive attention lasted longer than usual, but as expected, it comes to a quick end. Even though her presence has drawn some attention; when she danced with Maglor, and then again with Arthur. But that was because she'd been putting on a show of sorts. It couldn't be more than that.

"What about you?" Please let's talk about you, Nami. "Have you been enjoying yourself?"

"I have!" She grins, straightening one lacy sleeve. "Seems a lot of cute guys want to dance with me tonight. I'm milking it for all it's worth."

Pity she's not interested in a single one of them, but Nami can always appreciate the attention. And they're intelligent and good dancers, so. Side benefits.
