[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

[Not that he puts a lot of weight in dancing, but it would've been awfully awkward if he didn't know how to lead, either.

Though that would mean he could probably get out of this situation. Dammit.]

....♥ [ Yeah he's helpful. Kirito takes his waist and Sascha easily places both hands on his shoulders which doubles as both support, and makes it easy to look down to watch his feet. Because he's still at that stage. ]

[O-oh, the basic one, huh? That's actually less complicated than Kirito expected, so after a moment of baffled hand-hanging he finally sets the lifted hand on Sascha's other side. He doesn't want to mess with the process, and what does he know about dancing, anyway?

So. Okay. Turning...? At least with Sascha looking down, they're not doing the awkward eye-gaze.]

...So, um- how'd the dance lessons even come up? Did you want to learn?

[ Awkward nothing, he'd find it fun. But luckily, he is indeed keeping his eyes on his feet and not on Kirito as they turn. ]

Oh! This really smart lady mentioned it to me, but she didn't know how to dance...so Kitty said she'd teach me because this is my first party ever.

[Well, okay, one-sidedly awkward. Still, it's something of a relief.]

Is Kitty someone on your ship? I don't know anyone by that name.

She's not on my ship, but we arrived in the big one together. She was the very first person ever to be my friend♥ [ And therefor she has a special place in his heart forever, which results in him hugging to Kirito and nuzzling his face for a moment just because he's so happy about this. ]
