[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

[Remy's hand movement quickly stopped as that came out of her, as if the thought process from his brain to his hand had a hiccup, interrupting the whole thing. Did she really just say that? Did he really take it that way? No, wait, it clearly was meant to be taken that way, she was clearly joking about this all, and he clearly was able to handle this. Normally. But his line of thinking wasn't normal of late, not since Kitty's little reveal of what his alternative self had been through. Remy had tried to ignore and push it aside, but with this being the first time he had talked to Rogue since then, it just stuck in his mind.]

Uh, [Ok, good start, keep going.] Yeah, I do. [Yet the tone came out a little distant, as if he hadn't put any real thought behind it. Though that could easily be picked out by what his answer had been as well.]

[Rogue raised her eyebrows and then, because honestly? Seeing him this off balance was kind of fun, nodded her head.] Alright, then. You've got it. One dance.

['Snap out of it boy!' Giving himself another mental shake Remy did what he knew well, plastering on a practiced smile that was his normal old 'mask'. It typically wasn't aimed for her, but it was needed now.] So very kind of ya. [Keeping with the tone he had set for himself, Remy held out a hand for her to take so they could head to the dance floor.]
