[The night has finally come--the Gravity Rush is nearly upon us! What normally serves as a large performance hall has been gutted, emptied of its boring furniture and rigged up into a fantastical mismatch of technology and old culture. No matter where you go tonight, you're encouraged to move around, dance, play games, whatever helps you sleep in late tomorrow morning.

If you aren't one for scurrying around a ballroom all night, there's always plenty of people-watching to do. After all, so many people are wearing extravagant costumes and elaborate masks. How can you even tell who is who? Get lost in a crowd of sequins, chatter with a sun and a moon, or try to beat the guy in the monster-mask at a game of cards. Meet your friends or make some new ones--this masquerade party has begun!]

Though nothing so fancy as this and I hardly ever have anyone to dance with. Just myself.

All right, I can do that!

[You're welcome, Finn, you're about to learn a bunch of 70s hippie moves. Better than disco at least though right???]

[It's not like he knows any difference, so he's just happy to follow along. Some of the moves look a little silly, but he has so much fun he's laughing by the time the song wraps up.]

[Misty's laughing right along with him, pleased that he's enjoying himself so much.]

[She laughs again then rests her hands on her sides, breathing heavily.]

Though... probably been dancin' a little too much tonight. Need to get a drink or something. You care to join me?

Sure. [Finn takes her hand to lead her over to the refreshment table. He sticks strictly to the non-alcoholic beverages, but punch is good, right?]

Here. You want anything to eat, too?

[Punch is just fine. She takes it with a smile.]

Oh yeah that'd probably be good wouldn't it? Sometimes I get so caught up in things, I forget to eat.

Gotta take food when you can.

[Military attitude, that. You never know when you're going to be dropped into a mission with no warning. He makes up a small plate of tasty snacks and brings it back over to share.]

Here. If you're gonna dance all night, gotta keep your strength up.

[She picks up one of the... uh... cheesy looking snacks and pops it in her mouth. Her eyes light up almost and she chews enthusiastically before grabbing another one.]

Shit, that's good! You gotta try one of them things.

[He's never one to turn down food, so Finn grabs one himself. His eyes bulge a bit.]

Wow. [Munch, munch.] That's intense.

Ain't as good as food back home of course but...

[She bites down on another snack.]

Probably won't be goin' back there any time soon.

Way better than what I got at home. All of the food here is.

[Even the stuff on the ships, believe it or not.]

Maybe you can get some spices or something? Make things that taste more familiar to you that way.

Maybe. I'll have to talk to Remy. He's from the same city as me and he cooks real good, so he'd know exactly what to get. If we get the right stuff, I'll be sure to invite you. You'd love Cajun food.

[Given how bland his diet's been mos tof his life, he might have some trouble with it--not that Finn knows that. So instead he just grins.]

That'd be great. I like trying all these new foods.

[She waves a little pretzelly looking thing at him.]

We should have like... tastin' parties. Where people make stuff from their hometowns or whatever and everybody tries a bite, so we all get a taste of home.

All the food I know is boring.

[But he chews on the idea as much as he chews on the not-cheese.]

If we could get the right ingredients, might work. Just cause I think roast tauntaun and bantha milk lattes are gross doesn't mean there's not someone out there who likes it.

[Finn makes a face.]

Pack animal. Okay if you're starving, but I'll take the unflavored protein gel from the ship kitchens over it any day.

[She laughs.]

Must be pretty bad then. That gel stuff is pretty damn disgusting.

[She wrinkles her nose.]

The taste isn't so bad but it's all slimy.

[Slimy? Naw, it's...jelly. Well. Finn's probably not the best judge.]

All that ever mattered was that we got enough--and don't get me wrong, we got enough. But I didn't really know food was something you're supposed to enjoy.

Where I'm from, we're all about enjoyin' food! We got some of the most famous cuisine in the world!

[Oh man, wouldn't that be nice? Finn grins and leans up against the closest wall, still munching on some of the tidbits.]

Maybe the next place we land'll have something like it you could show me.

I sure hope so. I mean, I like this party and all, but this planet gives me the creeps.

Most planets aren't like this. And--judging by the green room over there, they don't want it to stay like this either. That's the first step.

Yeah, that's true. At least they're tryin'. And I don't think it's them that did it anyway. Looks like it's been going for a long time.
